Love the view of the water and Swan Boats in the distance!! Great for a brisk walk as it is a good distance around the Lake. Love all the trails. Also it is right across the street from McKinney High School!!!

This used to be a great place to visit but it really needs an update from the city. Most importantly the lake (pond) needs to be cleaned of all the muck and weeds and the water level needs to be raised back up. It's nearly impossible to fish here now and you cannot run R/C boats through those weeds.

We came here to walk with family members who live nearby and really enjoyed it. A very active place but not noisy or crowded. Lots of room to walk, sit and watch the people or ducks, pitch horseshoes, relax, have a picnic and more. Watched a young man fish, a group of high school girls exercise, and just enjoyed the atmosphere. Even tho it was hot, it didn't feel that way around the lake.

Great any time of year for relaxing, walking or just meeting up with friends. Great walking trails and a fun place for the kids to feed the ducks. Just another one of McKinney's beautiful spots to rest.

Great place for fishing, horse shoe, sand volleyball, playgrounds, picnic tables, hiking, paddle boats and even has a snack shop. It has a huge Frisbee golf course with some beautiful scenery. It's always buzzing with people.

Towne Lake is an extremely relaxing park. It is a nice size and is very well maintained. It has a lot of picnic areas, a volleyball court, and stands set up. There's boats you can ride in the lake. There are always geese, swans, and turtles and things in the lake. It is very nice and relaxing. I'm happy it is so well maintained, because it is right across from a huge high school and off from I-75, so it must be fairly difficult to maintain. Our family loves this park.

This was the first time we have visited this park and we organized a family get together. McKinney was a central location so I found this park on the McKinney City website. I called and reserved a pavilion and they made it easy and gave me additional info about the park. Our pavilion was next to the horseshoe pits and the baseball field. The lake was really nice and there were lots of people walking, jogging and enjoying the paths. The park was really clean and they have a nice kids area and paddle boats you can rent. If I lived closer I would enjoy going here all the time. The pavilion had 4 metal picnic tables, an electric outlet and was a nice big size. We will definitely plan another family event here in the future.

Pretty small (no boating except for the paddle boats and paddle swans) lake in the heart of McKinney. Huge trees, and walking path - during the summer the city hosts events there too.

Love this park. It has a nice jogging/walking trail around the lake. It is wide enough to make a lap or two. It also has sand volleyball field, playground, and grill areas. There is a small food stall where you can buy snacks. During Summer time, they have a paddle boat swans to use for a small fee. You'll see lots of ducks and geese in the lake area. We found a goose egg one time!The park is located next to Movies 14 and Senior Recreation Center in Mckinney. It is adjacent to a small meadow/trail that you can explore.
