Stopped by just to see what made up Sunshine Farm and got a wonderful tour from the owner and their friendly Pointer. Fresh grown veggies, scented personal care products, bunnies, geese, chickens, lambs, goats and donkeys. Would love to plan to come back for a "fresh from the garden" luncheon with friends and pick up some fresh produce and goat and sheep milk products. We enjoyed talking with the owner and plan to return.

As part of a Ladies Retreat in the area, we stopped by here and enjoyed a personal-guided tour from the owner herself of the property, touching and tasting as we went along. We purchased many items (Christmas gifts!) in their store where all the items are made on site. You can order online, but it was nice to have the sniff before you buy option.

About 20 of us journeyed out to Montgomery for a prearranged tour and luncheon. We arrived just before 10:00 am on Monday morning (they are closed to the public on Mondays). We were first given a tour of the gardens which included a wonderful array of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Then we got an in depth overview of the animal life on the farm. It was very clean and well cared for. The animals all looked healthy and happy. When we were done with the tour we sat down to a lovely 3 course "farm to table" lunch. It was all delicious and included home made bread and herbal iced tea and coffee. When we were done we went shopping in the gift store which included a wide array of customized soaps, lotions and teas, as well as fresh eggs. Many of the animals are available for sale, too. Several of us took the tractor pulled hay ride around the 12 acre property. It was nice to see a working farm that is run by a family that takes great pride in their property and the environment. They offer smaller individual tours on other days and request that you make an appointment. There is a cost for the food, but the tours are free.

Have taken our grandchildren several times this summer & they have enjoyed each visit to this special local family farm. We always learn something new from the gracious owners/guides. After our farm animal/garden tour, none of our visits would be complete without a visit to the gift shop to sample & purchase from a variety of homemade soaps, lotions or fresh veggies available at the time. Thoughtful tip: call ahead just to make sure "it's a good time". Always has been, but still nice to doublecheck.

Very kind and helpful owners who are more than happy to show you their wonderful little farm. We truly enjoyed our visit.

Went with a group of seniors on bus trip to tour this farm. It is a working farm with all the features one may imagine. I found the tour very instructive from the initial sharing of refreshments prepared from the farm garden, to the tour of the multitude of animal types (donkeys, 3 or more types of chickens, goats, rabbits, and bobwhite quail), the tour of the garden of fresh vegetables and herbs, to the ride around the property on the tractor pulled hay wagon. This is a small farm (12 acres) worked by a couple with occasional help from their children. A gift shop is available to buy plants, herbs, teas, etc. A very pleasant way to spend a morning. This is March so they have had a lot of rain and cold this year so everything was not in bloom. If you want to see how real small farming is done today go on this tour, not the discovery channel.
