This was was first visit to see the performance of the Nutcracker by the the Dallas Repertoire Ballet. We were seated in the Tier section, aisle 4. The seats were very comfortable. We were warned that we might have an obstructed view of the stage. Our view of stage left was slightly obstructed but we could see the center stage very well. The theater has great acoustics. The performance was good.
We live in Dallas with all the great options that offers but keep an eye on the Eisemann for events due to the comfortable experience.Several parts make this a great location.Parking is easy in close garages at a reasonable price but valet is available also. We are talking less then a block mostly cover to park. Seats have more room them most modern theaters and I don't believe they have a bad seat in the house but have never been in the balcony if they offer a show that is of interest, you will love the facility
Saw menopause the musical with friends and we all laughed until we cried. The play was clever and the music was great! The facility is clean and easy to get in and out of. I would definitely go there again.
Went to see Menopause the Musical, started slow, but it picked up speed and enjoyment. The facility is absolutely beautiful and the sound fantastic.
The Eisemann facility is beautiful and clean. Seating was great. Every seat could see the stage with no blocked viewing. I took my sister to see the musical, Menopause. Hysterical. 1.75 hours of non stop laughing. They do have valet parking and a parking garage, but parking was available for free on the street in front of a nice fountain, which I took advantage of. =) Very easy to get to right off 75 N. Take the Gatlynn exit. The Center is a block on the east side of 75. You are a 5 minute drive to Plano Parkway, where there are places to eat and shopping, before or after the shows.
The facility itself is awesome but they do not have a community theater which they badly need. Most of the attractions are not top notch or even near it . They gouge you to park there which is really off putting out here in the burbs Really Really off putting
Have been here for several shows. Environment is more casual and intimate. Sound and seating is nice, with several seating areas within the building. Dinner before and drinks are available. Good for an affordable and entertaining evening.
I'm at the Eisemann Centre often. Season ticket holder of Vocal Majority and Jeffrey Siegel performances. The Eisemann Centre books great talent. I've seen The Smothers Brothers, The Oak Ridge Boys, Bow Fire and many more. Easy access from I75. Valet Parking is available. Self Parking in the garage $5. Renaissance Hotel next door for out of own guests or for a pre/post performance cocktail or lunch/dinner. Online calendar and ticket purchasing easy and effective. If you prefer to call the ticket office everyone is friendly and helpful. We're lucky to have this wonderful venue in North Texas.
We saw Fiddler on the Roof, Greater Tuna, Vocal Majority and many other shows. The accoustics are phenominal. You can sit anywhere and hear well. Speaking of sitting - the seats are as comfortable as living room chairs with plenty of leg room. Being a big guy, this is the only venue I attend due to the comfort factor and the accoustics.
My friends and I were able to get tickets to the Nutcracker for $30 each in the lower level section (aisle 2). They had a full bar if you got there early and wanted to grab a drink however you could not bring it in the theater which is sorta annoying. We parked in the parking garage across the street on the 2nd floor for only $5 and still managed to get out of there and back on the service road of 75 in 10 minutes. I will probably look to attend an event here again.
Nice venue, reasonable prices, and not a bad seat in the house. Just wish they would get a few more national acts instead of so many local. Parking is close by. Refreshments for sale before and at intermissions. Easy to get to.
Excellent venue suited for a variety of shows and exhibitions. Fairly easy ticketing, access, and parking.
This is really a good to great venue for large format productions. I am not a big fan of seats that make you look up to the stage so the first several rows would not be my selection. Other than that slight issue this is quite a good place. They have a smaller performance hall located under the main hall for rehearsals and recitals with a flat floor - this introduces another set of issues but what the heck nothing is perfect. This is a B to B+ facility. Parking is adequate. Access is reasonably good. Been there a few times for different kinds of events and all seemed to go well.
The facility is grand and elegant, but I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life! An usher yelled me at, VERY indecently, for trying to enter with my “used” ticket after I left the auditorium briefly. When I complained to the Manager, she yelled at me too! Regardless, the words that where used against me is highly inappropriate in any setting and I was deeply offended. If you like good customer service, go somewhere else.
Great venue in Richardson for Plays, Concerts, etc. All of the other positive reviews here are accurate.
