景点印象
We really enjoyed the exhibit containing the money of the Texas Republic. I enjoy reading about Texas and found the information to be enlightening. I learned a lot about what the republic went through before it became a state.
If you are doing genealogical or historical research on any topic relating to Texas history, the Texas Collection is a "must" stop. The staff are very helpful and the extent of the collection is substantial. If the research relates to Texas Baptist history, this is THE place to do research. The Collection has archival restrictions--you must lock up everything but paper and writing implements or a computer--but the lockers are easy to access from the main research area.
Family friendly, very interesting. I believe only open during the week so check first. Parking is not easy-park near Sid Richardson-in visitors lot.
Every Texan should visit this library. Actually, you need to plan several visits to take it all in. It is well maintained and a great collection
The Texas Collection was once saved from fire by students at Baylor University. It features artwork and a ton of Texas history!
