If your idea of camping/fishing includes a nice place to rest after a day on the water, then this is the place to stay! From our cabin we got to see amazing sunsets every night! The marina has slips for your boat, which made it so convenient to get up and go fishing every morning. The lake is awesome and the water is cool - we took floats so we could get in and enjoy the water when the fish were not biting. The atmosphere is quiet and the marina is also close enough to town if you like dinners out. Stay here . . . you will not be disappointed.

we have used this facility for gas, docking, provisions, and general advice for 20 years. the owners Jerry and Claire are absolutely great in their attitude and friendliness. they hire only happy helpful staff. we haven't stayed in their cabins since we own a place nearby, but have heard nothing but great things about the cleanliness of the cabins.

We rented the 2 bed 2 bath Cabin #16 up on the ridge up and overlooking their marina. We were away from the main campground - good for us because we were not quiet and didn't wish to disturb others. The cabin was very roomy and well decorated & clean. The marina itself needs alot of work ... most of the docks were closed and needed work. Needs a fishing pier. But they do have an indoor fishing area by the store. The boat ramp is a bit tricky to get the boat in and out - you have to go at an angle. I didn't meet the staff but my sister did and they were very friendly ... we had to call a few times to check on this or that they were very helpful there too. I would recommend this campground for a family get away like ours.
