wimberley zipline adventures

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time here. The staff was very well trained and friendly. Our guides kept us safe and made sure everyone was having a good time. We would definitely do this again and highly recommend it.

This was great from start to finish. If you are any where near the area make plans to zip! Our tour guide Amanda was great. She gave us a 20 min intro to zip lines with lots of safety info. This part can be boring but Amanda and her partner Sara kept us entertained and informed! After our safety course we all piled into a six wheeled truck for a ride to the top which was great fun and part of the experience. Throughout the whole adventure the staff kept us engaged explained things and made sure we were being safe. We rented a GoPro camera which I highly recommend and Sara was always sure to tell us where to stand to get the best shots and what to look for. Lastly we got rained out our first day but the staff worked with us to get us in on the next day. It was a little chilly and a little wet but totally worth it! Will be doing it again!

I have ziplined before, and this is a unique experience, seeing the scenery this way with lower lines. My only complaints are with the staff. We visited Wimberley on our honeymoon. When my new husband and I were separated between zipline runs (and I was out of earshot) the staff asked him how old we both were and what our age difference might be. Secondly, when one of the staff found out the religious establishment at which we had recently got married, he insulted our religion. Those experiences left me with a negative impression for obvious reasons. The ziplining itself was great. I could have done without the personal remarks regarding our age and our religion.

Pick out a quirky helmet, strap on the gear, a quick safety lesson and away you go! Smitty and Sarah were fantastic guides! Ten different lines of varied lengths and speeds. Great time! Guides were not only cautious about the safety of the group but were fun and very friendly! There is a little bit of a climb for a few of the take-off points, but not too bad. It may be a little tough in the heat of the summer, but last friday was perfect weather! Be sure to follow the directions in the e-mail they send you - they are perfect given that Texas doesn't seem to have a lot of traffic signs.

Best zipline experience ever! Staff was great and made sure everyone was comfortable and safe before we left on a very fun ride to our starting point. You need to be in shape a little bit in order to climb the terrain, etc., to the runs, but my husband is 70 and he did just fine. Great adventure!

That is virtually the only complaint we get. On average, we have added two or three lines to the course every couple years since we opened. Hopefully we'll have more than 10 lines in the future.
