good art company art gallery

We did the First Friday Art Walk and though most of the art was good I would give it about 3.5 out of 5. As I said Art is in the Eyes of the Viewer. Since I have visited most of the famous Art Museums in Europe and the US my comparison might be a little strong. The art work in this and other galleries were good and will worth the time to spend viewing.

This was our first time in this gallery and we enjoyed the peruse. The type and style of art displayed from various artist was diverse and interesting and the curator was friendly and helpful.

The staff was more than glad to talk about the artists and the work and give me lots of references. Lots of great Texas Art!

Several of our favorite artists including Judy Cantwell Gelfert are represented here. The gallery is light and airy and the work is displayed very professionally. They do have artists who teach classes here once in a while. Take some time to stroll down Main to the gallery. You will not be disappointed.

this place is a great deal different than the other art gallery we went to. they display many other kinds of art work, which was all very very good, yet some was extremely expensive to us

Arrived a bit early on Main and this gallery was already opened so we stepped in to view the art. It is very nice work. Lots of sales going on and the glass work was beautiful. Prices seem a bit high when you first look at the pieces but the details and the talent that goes into each piece, if truly appreciated, will make you realize that the item is well worth the price.

The talent of these artists was amazing. There were realistic Southwest paintings that were wonderful.

It is an art gallery, art school and events. While in Fredericksburg for the Oil Painters of America National Juried Exhibition there was a break in the schedule. I walked down the street and noticed an artist giving a demonstration. He was set up in front of Good Art Company Art Gallery and is the rep for Gamblin oil paints. Inside I found Deborah Elmquist also demonstrating. To my delight there were some excellent paintings on display.
