The light, space, and sound of the Mort make it feel as one child said, "like sitting in a music box." The preview programs are wonderful and the talented musicians bring a wide variety of orchestral music to life.
Attended Cancer Blows concert. Even with Grand Tier seats, which are not the most comfortable, we had a good view on first row and sound is always good at this venue.
I have been here for numerous concerts. The Christmas pop was great. If you like classical musics, this is a must place to visit. Parking is not free!
This was a wonderful experience. My son and I went and had a lovely time. We ate dinner at the buffet and then went to listen to the performance that was spectacular.
Such a great show. Definitely got more than I was expecting with the video in the back and singers 'performing' a bit while they sang. Awesome show, will definitely be going back.
The Meyerson is a world class symphony center. The interior has incredible acoustics but is also gorgeous.
Beautiful venue for a first class orchestra. We are season subscribers to the DSO and the Meyerson is a wonderful setting for enjoying the evening.
Have been here many times and always a treat. Pepe Romero played solo guitar without mic and you could hear every note. The DSO plays and the acoustics enhances the sound( I. M. Pei the architect knew what he was doing). The Turtle Creek Chorale sings marvelous music and you can hear a pin drop during the hearing impaired signed Xmas concert special "Silent Night". Any concert is worth a visit to this world renowned performance hall. Enjoy.
I have been in several Symphony halls and the Meyerson is one of my favorites. Great acoustics, good seating and convenient parking and access. No loss of sound if you are sitting in the upper sections, don't worry about getting a cheap seat, sometimes those are the best.
You are unlikely to hear acoustic music in more flattering acoustics. Read for yourself the history of design and construction regarding this remarkable hall.Besides the Dallas Symphony, which is at an artistic peak in its history, the Lay Family Organ is part of the hall. Although it may be difficult to find a performance, a chance to hear it is not to be missed.Cons: People who go regularly navigate the various stairs, elevators, and corridors easily; people who do not, get lost, both in the vast parking garages and in the hall itself. I advise getting help rather than venturing over what you may think is the proper route.
Attend Dallas Symphony Orchestra and special concerts here. Almost not a bad seat; the sound quality for classical concerts is excellent.
Attended Cameron Carpenter performance (Lay Family Organ Series). Made that event the focus of my weekend travels (700 miles)! Not the first time I've done that. The DSO//offers great enrichment opportunities to all Texans,
What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. enjoyed a jazz concert in this fabulous venue. you can see from every seat and it is very comfortable. So many concert halls do not provide an adequate view from every seat. Not so at the Meyerson! it is located in the Arts district with great restaurants near by.
Have only been to the July 4 night with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, but it is just a beautiful place! As always in Dallas, parking can tend to be a problem if the weather is bad.
The Meyerson keeps improving the quality of performance showcasing our world class orchestra. The facility is magnificent and the new guest conductors a real treat.
