Event was suppose to be from 1-9 pm. We got there at 3 pm did not like band, so came back at 6 pm and event was done! I think we should get a refund!

The community needs a new convention center, since we are usually forced to use the events center for bigger events. For hosting events from weddings, to event dinners, their prices are high and staff can be difficult. It would be nicer to have more bigger named concerts and more often. Hopefully the new ice arena and hockey team will be an improvement!

Casper's Event Center on the hill has been controversial since before it was built. It's current condition hasn't helped its reputation. A recent, much-ballyhooed "remodel" to install new seating has made the Events Center even more uncomfortable. If you are over 5'8'' be prepared to have your knees jammed against your chest. This is a more "industrial" setting and not an appropriate venue for touring Broadway shows or concerts. The acoustics are serious lacking. The Home & Garden show (where you walk around the floor to visit exhibits) is a good use of the site.

Great venue, great rodeo production. Disappointed in the very few vendors. The food/drink prices are a bit steep at the concessions but not as bad as some places. Food was decent.

Was here for the College National Final Rodeo (CNFR). They put it on well. Good atmosphere. Nothing to complain about.

The Event Center is conveniently located off of the freeway and easy to find. The building is built in a circle and the doors are well-marked, making it easy to find your seat. All of the seats have good visibility of the stage / arena. My only complaint is that the seats are more-narrow than any other venue I have been to. I was with a group of six people and without prompting, everyone said the same thing. Leaving the Event Center seemed to take an average amount of time. I would recommend parking in the back. Everyone was racing to park in front and when it was time to leave, the people who parked in front had a 20-25 minute wait. The people who parked in back were the first ones out.

its the best venue in wyoming. MOst people in the state know this from the many state wide atheletic and entertainment events but the wind blows a lot and its not much fun walking to and from the car

I've only been to the events center to see shows (River Dance, etc.) that would normally be viewed in a theater. The events center is not a theater. The main seating area is flat with folding chairs-it feels like the center is ready to be turned in to a rodeo with 30 minutes notice. The acoustics are not very good although the artificial sound equipment is pretty good. Putting the limitations of the structure aside (and did I mention that the parking and traffic is badly designed?) it is fantastic to have a venue for traveling shows of Broadway, singers, show productions and other theatrical presentations. The run is always limited so it is important to book tickets right away but the arena is small enough that the crowd can really "get into" the production. In my experience, this intimacy results in more actor/audience interaction than I've experienced in far more sophisticated theaters. Perhaps in a tense drama, this would be a negative but in things like River Dance or a country singer like George Strait, it was a great experience.

We attended the Women's Expo last year and paid $20.00 for the questionable privilege. It should have been offered free of charge, because there was absolutely nothing to be gained from that experience. Also, I think that the Events Center, in its ads on their website, uses misrepresentation and false advertising to suggest notable celebrities come there, the most popular of the country music singers when, in actuality, they go to the Cheyenne Frontier Days and almost never come to Casper, except for Reva McIntyre, whom I don't consider to be notable.

Always so much going on at the events center. Conferences football Craft fairs, I especially enjoy the Broadway plays, a great variety every year. The staff and helpers are always great. They have good concessions and they cater many events. There is plenty parking and it is clean and comfortable. They host the Home and garden show every spring and the Fall is The Womens EXPO as well as the Hunting and fishing EXPO that helps school children and all to appreciate what the great state of Wyoming has to offer. In Nov. the third weekend, they host the largest craft fair around 150 booths. Always something going on and a must check out while in casper.

In town for a few days and decided to stop in the events center for the Freemont auto sale to check out the facility. Once I got away from the sales people, I did enjoy looking at the vehicles. The parking is easy and the center seems dated but clean.

This events center was built at the same time pizza hut came to Casper. It was a joke for us locals. It has been a piece of sunshine to rockers, rappers, country folks, and sports fans. It can house alot of folks and even rodeo gets its chance at stinking up the place with animal dung like the stink that lingers with the monster truck races. It is great for sports except those that produce odors. It is still a nice asset for a tiny town trying to grow up.

We do not need a Convention Center in Casper! We already have the Events Center. Adequate room and nice, new confortable chairs. Love attending the events and they move people through the admittance gates fast!
