黄石大峡谷，老忠实喷泉，大棱镜彩泉是我觉得黄石必看三大景点。黄石大峡谷很壮观，真的就是一幅非常巨大的画在你面前。看到肯定会惊叹大自然的神奇之笔。我夏天去的，Artist Point是最佳观赏点。正好还有个画家在那画画，挺有感觉的。

比arizona的大峡谷当然是不如了，在黄石还算不错的，峡谷位于公园的东侧中间，交通方便，有南北两条路可以深入，步行的trail不算难，景色纵深有层次

险些错过的美景。原本以为黄石就是看地热，湖和动物，其实这峡谷也与著名的大峡谷大大不同。因着狭小更显局促和嶙峋。因着上下两大瀑布让谷中的水奔流。因着北黄石到黄石湖的必经之路，必然要停下见识下。

我们早晨的时候到达那里,大雾弥漫。从峭壁边缘几乎看不到瀑布。但几分钟后,雾气消散到在我们走向灵感点的时候,刚好能从远处拍下几张它的壮美景色。

这边是黄石公园所有景点中我们最喜欢的一处。我们在公园里面呆了一周,参观了大峡谷三次,每次都是不同时段。最棒的一次是我们破晓时分过去的,那个时候人还不是很多,落日非常美丽。尽管这里的峡谷跟美国大峡谷没法比,没有那么大,但是这里的峡谷也真的是非常漂亮,尤其是再加上壮观的瀑布,感觉就更棒了。

大峡谷很棒!秋天的时候去人会比较少。这个季节的公园很漂亮。要做好步行或爬高无一些景点的准备。

这里是黄石国家公园的“必去”之地。你可以徒步去的瀑布有两处,风景都美的冒泡。峡谷很深,而且绵延数英里。那还有石峰可看。一条小径通向最大瀑布的底部,另一条小径将你带到峡谷南侧的顶部。两条小径都很和缓,很安全。时机好的话,你也许能在 the South Trail看到灰熊。

即使去黄石之前去过了大峡谷，到到了黄石峡谷还是觉得很漂亮。艺术家点应该是亚当斯代表作拍摄的地点，这个点应该上午来，下午光线很难拍。峡谷北岸的几个点也值得一去，开车到尽头就是峡谷村了

If you only have one day in Yellowstone this is the place to see! This beautiful canyon is located in the center of Yellowstone. It features the Lower Falls which are over twice as high as Niagara and if you get there early in the morning you can see the rainbow. Great viewing spots include Lookout Point it is almost up close and personal, Brink of the Falls, Uncle Tom's Trail (metal stairs with very close direct view) and Artist Point (view of canyon with Falls in the distance) this is my personal favorite, my husband likes the Brink of the Falls my mother in law liked Uncle Tom's Trail. The Upper Falls are nearby as is Hayden Valley a prime wildlife area of the park (bison, elk, grizzlies and sometimes wolves an the occassional coyote.

I can't recommend coordinating your trip with Free ranger tours. Do the Junior ranger stuff if you have kids it makes it more fun for the kids, heck if they allowed it I would do it. We visited this alone and it was gorgeous, but really gave it more appreciation when you understand things and that is the ranger tour makes it a richer experience to have a guide. Lots of families we went in late August.

We visited the canyon in Yellowstone during winter and it was a beautiful spectacle to see with the orange brown cliffs coated in snow and the upper and lower waterfalls draped in ice. I think it would not be as pretty in summer.

What a great time to see Yellowstone, when the crowds are nonexistent. The stunning geothermal sites with hoarfrost from the ever-present geyser steam pots are superb, and the semi-frozen waterfalls are spectacular. Snow coach tour by Buffalo Bus Touring, with Jeff as driver/guide, gave us easy access with numerous opportunities to get out and walk and take photos.

This was a stop on our Tauck winter wonderland tour and the scenery is breathtaking in the winter with all the snow.

The falls and canyon area is one of the sections of the park that make it so unique. There is such different landscaping throughout the park. One of our favorite parks!

We had never heard of this part of Yellowstone, but our traveling companions had and insisted that we stop there. We were so blown away by it and kept saying WOW over and over! It will be a part of any future trips there that we take. One hint: the Lower part is much better than the Upper Falls and the observation area is big enough for people to get a good viewing without being crowded (at least on our trip it was!)
