We are traveling cross country and saw the sign for free car museum . Pleasantly surprised with all the amazing cars , 50's stuff which brought back so many wonderful memories . Truckers love this friendly stop we have heard since stopping quite by accident . Had the best patty melt and fries for $7.89 ... Super clean place with friendly people .... Don't miss this place ...
Russell's Car Museum is at a gas station on I-40 Exit 369 NM. It has about 28 cars and tons of memorabilia. There is also a general store and food is available although we weren't hungry and really didn't have the time to even do the museum justice. I'll definitely look to stop there again if not on our return trip home then on another trip in the future. The museum is free and there is a donation box for some charity that the owner supports. If you like cars and motorcycles, yes he has a few of those also, then this place is a must see to stop and while away a bit of time.
The old car museum is free and you can take all the pictures you want. There are all kinds of antique vehicles, toys, and collectables. They have a donation tub, but there is no pressure to donate. There is a restaurant here as well that serves great burgers for a very good price. Good food and service. This is a must stop in to see if you are in the area.
Unexpected find at Russell's Truck stop. Great place to walk around for a while on a long road trip. Extensive collection of assorted memorabilia of cars, trucks, and classics (Elvis, Marilyn, etc...).Great for kids and adults, take as long or as little time as you have in your schedule. No fee, but you can make a donation to local charity.
FREE! A great assortment of older cars that they rotate regularly. About 20 cars/trucks, motorcycles, etc. Old memorabilia such as gas pumps, coke machines, cash registers, and many, many small cars and trucks. Old time tributes like to Elvis and a new one coming in soon to old #3, Dale Earnheart. There is a donation bucket but it goes 100% to a local homeless organization to provide meals. It is inside the Russell Truck Stop and this is one of the nicest truck stops we have ever seen. Very clean and well organized. Even has fresh Popcorn! There is a Subway counter and a sit down restaurant.
O museu do cara já é lgal. Muito carro antigo, tudo de coca-cola e M&M. Mas a lancheria é que e o máximo. Segundo o pessoal que foi, a melhor batata frita da história (Não comi isso). Garanto que o burger é excelente. Atendimento clássico no balcão!!!
