Is the name listed by the front door & built 1784. If you blink driving Thur town you will miss it as its behind another building but visible. It's on the right hand side. We asked a local resident and they said warmly it was closed till summer due to renovations and no heat . There is a small alley that runs beside a house and I would not pull in there. Instead a few feet past that is a turn out area and just park there. Enjoy!

This is a historic church built in 1805 in the marvelous little village of Truchas in Northern NM. Mass is celebrated during warm months and only occasionally will you find the church open. You can find it open during the September High Road Art Tour. Be sure and go inside and see the 1700's altar screen and locally made art. I wrote an article and have photos.
