Stopped in and had our family photos taken. The kids loved being able to play with the old guns. Very friendly!! Price is reasonable as well.

My 16 year old daughter and I set out on a summer road trip via Route 66 this past summer. Mother Road Old Time Pics was one of our now favorite memories of our trip. We had a blast trying on the various costumes and posing for the camera. The photographer had made it a memory worth sharing (through out great "old time" pictures and now through our social media recommendation. If you are in that area......you should definetly drop by and have some fun.

My wife and I found "Route 66 Wedding Chapel" in Tucumcari, New Mexico. [https://www.facebook.com/Route66WeddingChapel], also known as the "Mother Road Old Time Photos". On Wednesday we called and spoke to Leigh who was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. Leigh was able to schedule our remarriage for that following Saturday. We were greeted with professionalism and great care. We were provided with witnesses and our officiate who are also fellow business owners. Our wedding ceremony was everything we had hoped it would be from ceiling to floor beautiful (and calming) decorations. Our photos were gorgeous and our "bubble send off" was so much fun! We were traveling from Albuquerque, NM to Sedona, AZ and decided to check out Tucumcari, NM. We were passing through on a Sunday and we had a few things we wanted to see. Unfortunately, everything was closed up except Mother Road Old Time Pics. As it turns out, we had a blast posing in wild west costumes. The pictures we got out of the session were fantastic. Thanks for a great time!

We were told about this place from the lady in out Motel (Motel Safari) and it sounded like a fun thing to do so we went to check it out! Well fun is an understatement! I wish I could go back for more! The lady is very nice and patient! There are heaps of outfits to choose from in the back and you can try them all on first! The pictures are outstanding value it's safe to say it's not a tourist rip off spot, the prices are crazy affordable you cannot not do this trust me! It's so much fun playing the roles and she gives you great direction to get the most out of your pics! I hight recommend this place! Very professional pictures too!

My wife and I decided to take I-40 to Tucumcari from Oklahoma to get married. We gave Leigh less than a week's notice to set up our ceremony. Much to my pleasant surprise, I couldn't have planned a more perfect or more romantic wedding! We brought 3 close friends, they were completely comfortable with us recording the ceremony, the officiant was fantastic, and the 4 photos we fell in love with were perfect! Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and completely prepared to make our day as special as any wedding planned for months. I will definitely be returning to Tucumcari, and paying this lovely little place another visit! It's good to see small businesses who still know the meaning of customer service.

I was so surprised that my husband would do this...but he had more fun than I did! The owner played right along with us. Great experience!

My lady and I planned a weekend trip to Santa Fe, for a resort and spa on the Plaza, to end the weekend after Labor Day weekend with a last minute'who-rah!' Leaving from Amarillo, we noticed that Mother Road Photos were on the way and decided to get photos done since our schedules are so hectic and we rarely get to do things this fun. After the photo shoot, we made it to Santa Fe, did the couples spa massage, then explored Santa Fe. Sounds fun right? Well I hate to share this but I never had such a bad experience due to obnoxiousness from people that are suppose to provide customer service!? I think it was because it was the weekend after Labor day and the area was still overwhelmed? Anyhoot, it was Martha that saved this trip in the memory books and I have her to thank for making our trip one of the best and most memorable! This is a review of a bad trip gone good because of Mother Road Old Time Photos and I'm definitely going to return...maybe I'll cross dress next photo shoot and my lady can be a Sherieff!?!

Whilst traveling Route 66 with my 2 boys, we stopped at Tucumcari for a night and just had to have a go! The boys (and I!) had a great time picking out the costumes - especially the guns! The set-ups and props were fab, it didn't feel awkward at all posing for the pictures as the photographer was very friendly, fun and professional. It was reasonably priced as well. An all round brilliant experience. Thank you :)

Love this place! Went in for a 3 generation picture! Had a great time! Loved the shop owners! They make the whole experience Fantastic!

Took my grand daughters for fun photos. We had a blast. Professional and fun photographer. The girls had a great time picking out costumes. They would have done it all day if I let them. Would definitely recommend this for a good time, AND a fun memento to boot!

Dream come true! I searched so many places to do these pictures with my boys and I am so glad I found this studio! The owner/photographer is simply outstanding! Incredibly professional, patient and accommodating, even to the littlest one (3year old!) The boys wanted to go back and shoot bad guys!! Truly the highlight of our time in New Mexico!! THANK YOU!!PSWe will be coming back through to renew our vows in your lil chapel!

This is a really great shop in Tucumcari, NM, right on Route 66. They have the cutest sets where you can have your photo taken in western styles. The sets include a western saloon and also an old time card table with card hands and whiskey bottles. They have a bunch of costumes which are really easy to try on, you don't have to actually change clothes. We were traveling with our dogs and the lady there is a dog whisperer. We got the cutest pics ever of our dogs playing poker, etc.They also have a wedding chapel and a Christmas shop full of cool ornaments, as well as dip mixes from the southwest.Definitely a good stop!

This was the 1st time i had taken old time photos like this. The friendly photographers made it easy and fun. They made great suggestions and i was amazed at how easy it was to put the costumes on. Loved the pictures. So glad we stopped!!

There are authentic rustic looking Old West backdrops to choose from and lots of prop clothes to fit people of all sizes. Then all you have to do is let your imagination take over to create one of a kind keepsake photos. Jean, the proprietor, is fun and inventive. Even bring your own props! So glad we stopped in!!
