vino del corazon winery & wine tasting

We stopped in to the wine tasting room in downtown Sante Fe. The staff was ready to help us with waht ever we needed. Good wine with good friends. We have to go back to rebuild our supply.

We opted not to do the sampling but just asked Janelle for a recommendation. She suggested the Beso Blush and she did right by us. Really pleasing vintage.

Very comfortable cozy atmosphere. For $10 you may try 5 different wines and a cheese tray. Janelle served me and was great. Recommended several places...absolutely great experience. I preferred the Shiraz.

I've been to many wineries in various parts of the country and was very happy with the wine tasting here. I often don't care for New Mexico wines because they tend to be too sweet for me. Vino del Corazon has made wines that are fruity but not too sweet. We were there with someone who is a beer drinker and never wanted to try wines. He agreed to do a tasting and left wanting to know more about wine because he enjoyed the tasting so much. I highly recommend you make this part of your visit to Santa Fe!

First of all, all the samples were very good, but the Vino del Corazon wines were my favorite. Second and most important was the customer service and industry knowledge provided by one of the owners her name was Edwina was superb. I totally enjoyed the experience.

It was delicious but you didn't get a great deal for your money. For the experience, yes, for the value not so much. I did love the family feel and environment though. I would go back but would just split a bottle, that'd be more cost effective.

Vino del Corazon is a true taste from the heart. Erica poured out wonderful wines, insightful knowledge, and a true connection from the heart. It was a wonderful experience in a wonderful location in the heart of Sante Fe downtown.

A great way to take a break from the galleries, museums and cathedrals of Santa Fe. Good wine in a friendly setting. Erica makes you feel like a local.

We do wineries. Lots of wineries. Some wineries/tasting rooms do it all wrong, presenting so-so products in a stand-offish manner. We don't review those because, hey, tastes and expectations vary. Then there are those that offer a good product in a warm, friendly way, like they have a secret to share. Well, the secret's out and the owners of Vino del Corazon (a play off their last name, Hart) are doing their best to continue the trend. Erica manned the counter the afternoon we ventured in. Did I happen to mention we do wineries? When we bellied up to the bar we were greeted by a big smile and a genuine interest in sharing her wines. Whether we were going to purchase anything (we did, four bottles) never appeared to be Erica's goal. So, if you are in the Santa Fe area, go there, go out of your way if you have to, but go there. You won't regret it. And then you, too, can also say, "We do wineries!"
