It's about the size of my bedroom. I would not consider it to be a museum, rather an informative historical dedicatory room. If you want to check it out while flying in or out of Roswell that is ideal. Please donate money or property to contribute to the transformation of this room potentially into something greater someday. Also, if you don't want to be disappointed, don't go out of your way (such as driving all the way across town) just to see this display. Do it while you've already planned to be at the airfield.

The history of the base and outlying airfields is important and disappearing. People should remember the military presence, how unfortunate that they left, and the POW camp. Small museum and tucked away, but people should make the effort to spend a few minutes there.

Due to lack of funding, these exhibits are currently on display inside the Roswell International Air Centre. Small, yet packed full of aviation history and artefacts, it's a nice glimpse into an important part of Roswells past. A donation and 30 minutes is all you need, so I urge visitors to support this museum.

A small museum with info about the Air Force base. Worth a quick look and free. It is housed in the airport terminal.

There were a lot of cute and fun shops to look through. The murals on the buildings were great and we enjoyed how everyone was into the whole Alien theme

I was stationed at Walker AFB in 1964-65 (it closed in '67.)The museum primarily displays artifacts from the early days of the base. I found it very interesting. Walker was a SAC base in the 60's, with 2 B-52 squadrons and 2 Tanker squadrons (I believe.) Driving around the base was fantastic, as several buildings where I used to work are still around. The museum very much helped my enjoyment of the area.

This was a trip back in Time. I was stationed at Walker AFB from 1963 to 1966. I loved this base, and a lot of it is still here. The museum has much to see, and they are interesting people with which to talk. Even if you were not in the Air Force or stationed here, there is much to learn about our missiles and the Strategic Air Command.

I've enjoyed the other museums and galleries in Roswell, but had never been here, and was looking forward to it. It wasn't worth the drive however. The entire museum is the size of an average home dining room, At a minimum I thought there would be a map of all the current buildings, and what they were used for when it was a base, perhaps even pictures. There was neither, just some uniforms, a few letters etc. The entire visit took less than two minutes. Even with the small size it would be interesting if they brought in some old photos of the base, equipment used by the air force etc. but as is was very lifeless.

Unless you got off a plane in Roswell, there isn't much point in going all the way to the other side of Roswell , down to the airport, look for a parking space, then go inside to be disappointed by a very small one room "museum" too look at 3 uniforms of the USAF and a few memorabilia items in glass cases..... the girl that was "working" in there said, "hey" then was more concerned with watching youTube on her laptop then helping or talking to us about anything, or better yet, the "museum"...... dont bother going. you really wont miss anything.
