mechem drive

A nice diversion on a cold day. Amongst the dross are some very good clothing and kitchen shops. Worth a few hours at least.

Nothing special to say about this road, it has some nice views and has some places to eat, so don't expect any special.

We took this road to the turn off to Ski Apache and the Winer Park Tubing Area, and it was a pretty drive.

We enjoy the drive along Mechem, however, there is no realistic way to window shop and visit art galleries like on Sudderth. We prefer Sudderth, even though there is a good collection of restaurants on Mechem.

Not as congested with the shops like Sudderth Drive. Few more restaurants and different shops. Grocery store I belief Lawrence Bros'.

I haven't been to Ruidoso in 14 years but it looks much the same as before...lots of small shops. Many have gone out of business, but we saw many progressive new places as well. Still a great place to visit!

The Main Street through Ruidoso is Suddreth Dr where all the tourist shops are. Mechen Dr branches off towards Billy The Kid Trail. It is a nice drive and was near our condo there are a couple grocers and several restaurants, also the country club and golf course.

Everything you need available, convenient, diverse, good road, easy access. Beautiful views, clean. Safe

mechem drive easy to locate ,eateries,grocers,and other facilities on this main drive ,our cabin was easy to find off this main road..

Drive is great and scenery is to die for!! Fires have affected some of the views, but still beautiful!!

Its a road with decent businesses on it. The pavement is newer. Way better than Sudderth. Whatever they did to Mechem should be in high priority for Sudderth.

This is one of the main streets in Ruidoso. It is well maintained and provides a great view of the town and its mountainous surroundings. Take a drive and enjoy!

en ella se encuentra la estacion de policia y bomberos, tiene algunos buenos restaurantes y hoteles, te lleva hacia la zona de sky apache y hacia el aeropuerto. en verano llegas a ver venados por esta zona por lo que debes tener cuidado.
