Ordered the fried chicken and found it quite tasty along with the side of mac & cheese. The corn bread is very good with some butter slathered on it. This place is worth checking out.Ps: the bar is open ;-)

The bar staff is very friendly and professional. The table service is okay. The menu is unimpressive as is the food. Don't expect anything healthy or good tasting. They don't serve quality vegetable sides. Sometimes cold, sometimes over-done, sometimes dry. I tried the place twice to dine in and once for take-out. I am done. This is not at all award-winning BBQ, so don't expect that. There is not much BBQ competition in the area so they don't really have to do very much to maintain business apparently? They could do more... The attention to detail is lacking and I never seen the owner or the chef come out and say hello, introduce themselves or to welcome leadership feedback directly. The staff will ask what you think, yet I got the clear feeling the questions were robotic, nobody is actively listening for the feedback if you give it; there is avoidance of acknowledgement of customer comments. (Yet they ask you how your meal was to "check-the-box" as if they are told to do so.) Indicative of how the place is led. Sad to see, they could thrive.

What a great BBQ place, so many things to choose from and what a large amount. Love the cornbread and sauces. Better jog the next day with what amount you get. Loved it.

We were not impressed with what we were told was a great BBQ place. We found the food heavy, greasy and just unappealing. The atmosphere was old and dirty and left me not really wanting to eat. The kids seemed to enjoy it, as I figured they would since everything they ordered was deep fried or floating in butter. The cornbread was the only redeeming factor, but even that left us feeling like we consumed a lead weight. I would not go back.
