"the rail" - old rail tavern - barrington n.j.

What a neat place for lunch, dinner or a snack! It is a typical neighborhood bar that sits along the railroad at a busy intersection that makes it easy to find. We are pizza lovers and the pizza and appetizers were great. The prices are very reasonable and it was a great place for our group of police officers, firefighters and medical folks who were very comfortable there. Quiet and focused on being a nice place to sit and talk, this is a neat bar in the area to visit.

This place is another South Jersey landmark. It's been the Cheers of the Barrington area for like ever. Always comfortable to go in, friendly, great service, good food including the pizza. Nice sports type atmosphere. Not the biggest or the newest, but one of the best.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Pizzas are great. Plenty of screens for watching sports. A nice gathering place in a good neighborhood. Reminds one of the show Cheers.

We are not from here but go with family after annual softball event every yr in Sept. Place is a decent size and fun to hang out in. Only had pizza but was very good. Everyone is pleasant & service is good. This is a regular haunt for my extended family from NJ to hang out in and I always look forward to going!

This place is a comfortable and fun spot. Food is very good, plenty of home made and flavorful dishes. On any given night,you will find people from 21 -81, mingling, talking sports, catching up with friends and neighbors and just having fun. A wonderful local bar!

great atmosphere. Beer selection is not monumental, but is perfectly fine. i have no complaints about the food. it is adequate bar food. The character of the bar is definately worth a visit if you have never been here.
