Great tour. Robin, one of the owners, is so sweet and helpful. MThe Exit 3 is so incredible. All of the beers are great. This place cares about people and the environment.
Decided to stop by on our way home from vacation. There was an event, so they were closing a bit early, but we were able to taste all of the beer they had to offer in a bar like setting. The beer was great and the bartenders were great to talk to. Glad I live close enough to visit again.
On a last minute lark, we stopped by the Flying Fish Brewery in Somerdale and experienced a great afternoon. A personal tour of the facility, frank answers to industry questions, and a super friendly staff made this stop totally worthwhile. And the greatest part of the tour was the beer! After the tour and the film, you can sample a number of delicious craft brews .
Brought my office here and we had a blast. Super tasty beers! From friends, to family, this is a fun visit and well worth it.
My family came for a private Home Brewers Association event. We enjoyed a VIP tour, which was extremely informative. Our 5 year old even seemed to enjoy herself. We were also able to enjoy some of their beers from their funky bar on their tasting room. Delicious. I loved the wood accent that went along the ceiling and continued to the bar, it reminded me of the boardwalk. Try FU Sandy while they have it.. yum!
We were at their newer location in Somerdale. The bartender was very nice and we had an awesome brew tour of their building. Grab a friend and go have a beer. Or go by your self.
We visit a lot of local breweries so we made sure to stop at Flying Fish on our way to Philly for the weekend. Easy to get to, the tour was very informative, and the tasting room very spacious. Several beer options to choose from in flight or pint form. Bar servers were informative and patient in explaining all the different types and how they may fit your personal tastes. Since the place is large, you can definitely spend a nice afternoon with friends sampling and catching up!
Visited the new place in Somerdale, had no idea what to expect. We took a "tour" and then did a tasting. The tour wasn't really a tour, we were taken in the back and stood there as we were given information about the process of beer making. It was very informative and the employee was very friendly but I do feel it could have been conducted a little better than it was. The place really is helping to do a lot for the environment with solar panels, recycling etc. The tasting room was huge and there are a few picnic tables thrown in to sit at. It's very cold and not very accommodating. The tasting was $6 for 4 beers. Or you can get a small glass of beer for $4.5. Nothing is included in the free tour.
It's always a pleasure to visit Flying Fish. The new tour isn't as good as the old one, but it's still a great to be there. I did the tour at the old place a number of times with a different person everytime--brew master, assistant brewers, sales people, markteing people, the owner. Each time it was cool to get a little different personal perspective on the company, process and the beer. Now, it seems a little more canned and not as personal, which to me isn't as good. Stll fun, a good tour and fine beer.
Lots of fun. Take a video tour and then sample a selection of their great beers! Wide variety to chose from. Choose flights of four or eight. Freindly people and lots of fun things to find in the gift shop.
We decided to stop by Flying Fish Brewery while we were in town for a wedding. We were the first people to arrive on this Saturday, and were welcomed by the friendly staff. Kevin and Bernard took us on a tour of the newly opened Brew Factory, and describe to us the Eco-friendly procedures that they take to make their delicious beers and conservationist ways to help leave less of a carbon impact on the environment. We were totally impressed since we have not came across a brewery that has implemented such standards. Afterwards we did flights of their beers on draught, and ended up buying some to take home! Ours favorite were the Summer Ale and Abbey Dubbel!
Flying Fish Brewery has moved to a bigger Building and now has a tasting room. The new address is 900 Kennedy Blvd., Somerdale, NJ 08083 | (856) 504-3442
they have house beer for the beer lovers and a very diverse menu at a good price. Nice setting very comfortable atmosphere and conducive for nice conversation with dinner.
Didn't try the beer (I was driving) but the food was VERY good!
This brewery is tucked away in an industrial area. Not many locals even know it's there. The staff is great & very eager to show you around. But, best of all are the 'samples'! You can even take home a souvenir glass & a 6-pack! But hurry...they will be moving to a new and bigger location. So don't miss out while they are here.
