We have been to numerous shows here sponsored by the county and always find the seats unobstructed and sound quality great. If you are thinking of attending a show here, don't hesitate!
I have attended a number of concerts here and have never been disappointed. Great place to see everyone from "America" to Dave Mason.
This historic gem of the theater is a great place to see live music, shows or any live performance. Acoustics are great - plenty of free parking. If you see a band you love is playing there do not miss them in this venue.
Beautiful concert hall where there is not a bad seat in the house. Free parking, reasonable show prices and the great town of Collingswood right there to grab a bite before the show or a drink after! This is truely a "Hidden Gem" in South Jersey
Went to hear an acoustic concert by two prominent roots-rock artists. The auditorium has outstanding sound system - every word and note of vocals and guitars rang clear and strong. It’s an intimate place to hear live music, and there seems not to be a bad seat in the house, since the chairs (a bit old and narrow but okay) are arranged in gently curving rows and at a gently rising height. BUT getting into and out of the house was absolutely CHAOTIC. There’s one main door, very narrow, and a couple flights of stairs to reach the entrance to the seating. There is some handicapped access but you have to hunt to find it. The house doors opened barely a couple minutes before the show started, and the opening artist started right on time, so, throughout her set, concert-goers were scrambling to find their seats in the dark. Plenty of ushers were on hand, but we got the feeling they’re volunteers -- well-intended but pretty much clueless about how to do the job. Some didn’t seem familiar with the seating chart, others kept flashing their flashlights all around as they tried to get people to their seats, and they carried on too-loud conversations with concert-goers, often getting in the way of our hearing the artists. When the show ended, it took close to 10 minutes for us to make our way back down that same staircase (with no ushers in sight to assist or guide or maybe point the way to an alternative exit) to the exit.
