Date of visit was actually April 2013, not 2014 (Wouldn't allow me to select further back). This was for a WWE Wrestlemania fan axxess event. The arena was easily accessible from the surrounding City's. The venue itself was nice, plenty of places for food and drink.

While my 7 yr old boy loved this event and was super impressed by the big versions of his own hot wheels collection, I feel we can cross this event off our to do list. It was so loud you need to bring ear plugs and/or ear coverings for kids and preferrably for adults. The exhaust at this indoor event, though closely monitored, was very pungent. The cost inside the arena for anything, as expected, was ridiculous. Overall, a somewhat enjoyable event for adults and highly entertaining for 6-7 year old kids.

Easy access from highway...parking was $15 which was a little high for Disney...once inside it was easy to find your seats friendly staff at food places and ushers...the toys and souvenirs were overpriced but that was expected. Bathrooms could use an update.

They need a huge face lift just like the old giant stadium! Very out dated and small. I would like to see more capacity for large in door events in the medowlands.

After reading some of the reviews, I thought that this was going to be a bust, but the arena isn't that bad. Yes, it's outdated, but it's clean and the staff is very friendly. It's less pretentious than MSG and the Barclays Center. We were in section 104 and we were able to go down to the lower level and take pics and greet the players as they walked onto the court (it was a college basketball game). Parking was pretty easy, it was $25 but I think that's probably average for the area.

Went to the Duke UCONN basketball game on December 18th. It was a fine place at which to see the game. Sadly, that is the end of the positives. Over an hour before the game, there was a decent length line in order to get into the arena with separate lines for men and women. Why? Because each of us was patted down before we could enter. The process itself was ok but really? And, if that is the procedure, Couldn't there be more lines? The lines continued inside the arena. There were long lines waiting for the "better" food options, pizza and burgers. The options were very limited compared to other arenas At half time the line for the men's restroom was so long that, even having gotten into it immediately at the end of the first half, I missed the first 30 seconds of the second half. Transportation to the arena from the Port Authority was by a direct nonstop bus and at $10 for the round trip was very reasonably priced BUT getting back to Manhattan by the same process was ridiculous. They advertisement was that transportation back was available until 1/2 hour after the event. Those of us in the 1,000 person line wished that had been true. I left my seat with a minute left waited in line for 45 minutes to get on a bus and there were probably as many people behind me in line as ahead of me. At any time there were probably 6-8 buses waiting to be loaded but they loaded one bus at a time making sure to fill all 56 seats before going on to the next one. It was worse than the cab line at the Las Vegas Airport and that is saying something. And the game was not sold out. If I had to go again I would try to train to Secaucus Junction and take the shuttle from the station. If it had been cold or raining it would have been infuriating.

The izod center is just a ok place to see a show. The building itself is just a joke, so outdated its not even funny. Small cramped concessions, small old bathrooms with cracked tiles clogged drains in the sinks and long lines to enter. The sound in the upper decks is terrible the bass just bounces off the roof and echos over the other sounds. When the crowd jumps you literally feel the entire upper deck move under your feet. The upper decks are so steep you feel like your running down a hill going down the steps. The size of the arena i feel is perfect for concerts, its just this place needs a major renovation, which i think it will never see due to the dwindling shows and the prudential center just miles away. The parking is outrageous considering how much there is around the venue. Its not the worst place ive seen a show but not the greatest. The place probably has a mere few years left before it meets that wrecking ball, but until then if you have a good seat... this place is a good alternative to pricier stadiums in the area.

I've been going to this place since it opened and I still think it is a decent place to see a show. It doesn't have all the modern amenities of all the newest arenas, but it provides a great view no matter where you sit. There is enough of your basic fare to keep you satisfied, but if you're looking for sushi or some chain restaurant inside, then sorry, you'll have to go somewhere else. The staff is always friendly and there is decent parking available. Granted, the price of parking is pretty crazy, but compared to other places and the city--it is actually not that bad.I also like the fact that this arena is not crammed into the busy streets of a city. It is conveniently located off Route 3 and it is right next to Metlife Stadium and the racetrack.

They don't seem to be booking as many acts here lately. But still a nice venue. Food and drinks overpriced just like at Metlife stadium across the lot. Get there early so you don't have to park in the deck. Or get out of the show early to be able to exit the deck or you will be stuck in there for an hour waiting for people to stop messing around and move their cars.

You go here, not to see the center, but to attend an event. We attended the Marvel Universe Live, which was not a sold out event, so we had less problems entering, exiting or long bathroom lines. Are there long bathroom lines for women? Better question would be at what venue aren't there? Is parking ridiculously expensive? Again where isn't it? I still can't believe a soda $4, an ice in a cup $12 and cotton candy $15. How does any family afford it today? BTW, noticed that parking fees change depending on show. It's as simple as this: If you have always wanted to see the performer/performance, then the rest become minor by comparison.

Had alot of fun there, BattleCry is there every year...so much fun. One year we conga'd around the top of the stadium. Though i do say bring your own food and drink...definitely dug a hole in my pocket

I recently went to have a concert experience I've always wanted, to see Cher live. I usually know pretty much about where I visit, this would be my first time there. As I brought the tickets online I prayed for a good seat. When I arrive the venue was so well made there really are no bad seats. I have told many people to go to the Izod for concerts. You were even able to walk down the aisle and grab a couple of up close pics. I will return it was fantasic.

I recently attended a Cher/Cyndi Lauper concert at the IZOD center. I was disappointed with the view and sound quality from our seats (Section 202 Row 7). Having recently attended several concerts at Madison Square Garden in NYC from the nosebleed seats I can say that IZOD does not compare favorably.Good points: parking is close to the venue though not cheap ($30 reserved, $25 purchase at event time); entering the venue was fairly easy though caution to check in advance for valid itmes / purse size etc.; seats in the venur are pretty easy to access and are comfortable with reasonable leg room. These seats compare favorably to those in the Garden.Downside: We went to attend a concert. Therefore, the most important factors have to be visibility and sound. The Garden has plenty of close up large screen TV's in the upper seats. IZOD only has two semi large screens on either side of the stage. It would be easy for the center to install many more screens which would help those in the upper seats sea the performers better. This should be done. Even the two existing screens at side stage are not big enough and should be replaced. Sound quality should be improved. Also, ladies bathrooms have very long lines during event breaks and actually merge at the doors from two directions. Control of these lines could be better to avoid conflicts. Also, the plumbing seems to clog up when stressed by the volume use and floors were wet with overflowing water from the toilets and half of the toilets were full of paper and waste. The venue did get things tidied up after the mob abated but they weren't good to use at the peak. Also, beer selection was limited with no draft or craft available. It would be nice to have a decent selection of beers and wines. We had hot pretzels and these were good.

This place is gigantic. Its easily accessible off the freeways & the facility is clean & up todate. The surrounding area is great too, no "scary" neighborhoods. The sound system & flat screen work fantastic. Would def go see another celebrity there. Only downside was, parking was $25 per car a little excessive if you ask me.

izod center is old and worn. concessions below average. water bottles served without tops for fear of fighting. sound quality for a concert is ok. price is high for quality.
