alba vineyard

We recently visited the Alba Vineyard. We visited because we were interested in having our upcoming nuptials there.First off, the wine review is completely different from the service review.The wine was fantastic! We bought about 6 bottles. The Port and Blueberry dessert wines were scrumptious!We also bought the Old Mill and a few others as well. We highly recommend the wine!It was 10.00 per person for the tasting and typically at wineries in the area the fee is 5.00 or 7.00 and you get it back when you purchase wine. Not here sorry guys! When we walked in we stated that we had spoken to one of their consultants regarding a wedding and there wasn't much info.The gentleman working the front was able to just show up a picture book and had no other information so all of the questions were referred through email.I can't say the staff was exactly cordial. I kind of got the impression that we were bothering them although it was a snowy day and not a soul was around.The place is beautiful and the wine is great if you can look past the service, which we can.
