Walk under a tree canopy while seeing the Manhattan skyline and lights dance off the Hudson River. Stop at one of the several restaurants on the river for a drink or something delicious to eat. There are 2 parks for kids, both with NYC views. Bands often play on the river during warm weather.
But enjoyable all the same. Great to be able to walk along with the NYC skyline on one side and Hoboken on the other.
...to an inrceasingly urbanized downtown Hoboken. Good for a walk, a run, bike, places to sun yourself on warm days... yes, a nice counterpoint.
The view of NYC cannot be beat! There are restaurants, parks, festivals and fun all year long and when you add the incredible view of NYC, Hoboken can't be beat!
The views of the New York Skyline are beautiful, you can see the Manhattan skyline and you can go to carlos bakery from this place..
Go to Carlos Bakery and then you can go also to this incredible place! From there you can see the Manhattan skyline! Amazing!
Walking on Hoboken Waterfront walkway is such a great thing to do. Very good to enjoy the view of the city and enjoy Hoboken piers until the old maxwells house.
I can't tell you how many miles I have walked along this walkway over the past several months. It has to be my favorite place to walk. I have never got bored along this strip. The views of the New York Skyline are beautiful, the area full of restaurants and taverns, shops, boutiques, you name it, and it's there! For a city that is only one square mile there are so many places to see and visit!Highly recommend a visit to Hoboken and the waterfront.
Awesome experience walking around taking in the views of NYC from Hoboken. Lots of people wandering around enjoying the beautiful weather. We even saw a little concert happening! Great spot for nice day!
Great place to stroll and take photos of Manhatten skyline. This area has undergone a lot of renewal and work and is a real credit to the town of Hoboken
You can start near the Chart House in Weehawken, and, while you're there, grab a chair at a table behind the building (on the water) for a spectacular view of the NY skyline ! From there, you'll pass the marina (on Harbor Blvd.) where the Spirit of NJ sails from. Consider taking this dinner cruise one evening to & around the Statue of Liberty ("Lady Liberty" is a resident of Jersey City, you know !). Continue walking on the promenade thru Hoboken (Pier C), have a drink at one of the outdoor cafes here. Continue into Jersey City. And make sure you go as far as the 9/11 Memorial in Bayonne (worth the trek!). Fabulous views the whole way ! Lots of places to stop & rest, have a bite and/or a drink. Tons of photo opps ! The incomparable NY skyline, not visible LIKE THIS from anywhere else !
Jewel of the city. It goes the entire length of Hoboken now. Panoramic views of NYC. Piers A & C (downtown) are special. Pier A is large and spacious with lots of room for chairs or blankets. In the summer there are top line concerts: Dylan, Mumford & Sons and NJ Symphony. Pier C is kidney shaped and several playgrounds for children of various ages. Pier 13 (uptown) has food trucks and is a lively place. Great place to sit or stroll.
Great walkway to see the city. It is well maintained and offers lot of events throughout the year like movies in the park, races, and children events. It's also great path for running or lounging in one of the many parks.
A lovely stroll with incredible views of Manhattan. This is a wonderful green space. The "great lawn" is typically full of people enjoying the views.
You will get to see a great view of NYC from Hoboken Waterfront Walkway. I loved it. If you are stress and trying to get away from the city for a few hours, just go here and you will live it too. Got to meet Great people, fishing, and i even used a skate board for the first time lol. The view of the Empire state and the Liberty tower is awesome.
