Place is a little out dated, and never a new ride...all rides outdated. If you have older children...not for them. The water park is much better, and the only reason I give this 3 stars because if can be used by any age, and more up to date. Bathrooms need some help, and the food there...I have had better at an amusement park for the money.

Went here with my nephews one summer day. Park has free parking - a definite plus. Rides are more like banal carnival rides. Rides are geared towards small children. This is definitely not for the thrill seeker. The waterpark was good with some cool slides but was overcrowded. There are also rocks all over the place which makes it tough to walk on. Food is average for an amusement park. There are no indoor eateries, so be prepared to eat al fresco. A good day for the kids especially if they're a little timid about big rides. If you enjoy watching your kids have fun, you'll enjoy it here.

This was such a hidden gem to find. Perfect day trip for the family. Supporting a family run business instead of a giant chain water park was a bonus! I suggest packing lunch for added family time at the picnic area!

Land of Make Believe may not be the biggest or fanciest amusement park, but it is perfect for families with small children. All the rides are geared towards younger children. There is a nice water park- also not too big- with a lazy river and some fun slides for the older kids too. You won't find the prices for food too outrageous either. Mixed in with the rides and the water park are a few games, a small petting zoo and Santa's workshop. If you ever wondered where you could get a picture with Santa in the middle of the summer, this is the place to be.

This place is so fun! All the kids enjoyed it. It makes great childhood memory's. I still love it! The water rides are very fun and so are the rides i would recommend the land of make believe to everyone!

Well I must say my family and I had a great time at the Land of make believe. The regular rides are more focused on little kids. My son loved the train ride around the park. The food was GREATTTTTTT lol. But the little kid in me and my wife came out with the water park. The rapids was sweet and the tube slide was scary and FUN FUN FUN. lines were short so we went on the best water rides multiple times. Take your family here and get ready for fun. just wish they had more water rides.

Fun for all ages... stay the whole day... we went with 6 kids ranging from 2 years old to 13 years old... and 4 adults. Water slides very fun, lines were not too long, but a little bit of chaos getting tubes for the slides. A few more staff would have made the experience a bit more easy and eliminate the "cheaters" in the line. Except for the 2 year old, we didn't get in the pool... that's really for little kids, but the water park was fun and convenient for a quick cool-down. TIP: Get in the lazy river EARLY... the line was Ridiculous later in the day.Amusement rides were also fun... the merry-go-round made us all feel like kids again! Several rides for younger kids and large enough for parents to get on as well. Besides water and rides... theater production engaging kids in the act, Petting zoo, gold panning, Christmas barn, photo op behind the barn, maze, train, hayrides, etc...Food... you may bring food/drinks into the park (not the water section though), and leave your cooler at one of the many picnic tables. There's also several places to buy food and drink and it's quite reasonable.Tip: Get there right when the park opens... easy parking, get your pool chair and get in the lazy river ASAP!

Prices not bad and park was not crowded at all we got to go on everything very quickly...rides def for the little ones. One of the workers for the games was so rude and nasty ....horrible.tone may e BC or.was the end of day but no way to talk to customers. My daughter loved it though so I would go again...

I was there August 19,2014 with three grandchildren all 12 . I am 60 ,I was the only adult. The fee is reasonable. I was able to sit in one place and watch them on 9 rides in the amusement area. The water Park area is wonderful. There are enough attractions to give them a variety of activities. Again I was able to watch them most areas from my lounge chair. There is plenty of seating for watching and relaxing throughout the entire park It was very nice that we could go to the car and get our picnic lunch and dinner and eat in the park. There weren't any lines for anything. I feel I got my monies worth. There were no extreme rides but the water park made up for that. I look forward to returning next year with my youngest grand daughter added to the group.

There are lots of water rides. My granddaughter love it. She had lots of fun. It's fun for adults too.

We visited yesterday on Labor Day weekend. We expected it to be a mad house like everything else on a holiday weekend but were pleasantly surprised. This amusement park has a 60 year history and to embrace that is a special thing. I researched their website online prior to coming and to see the black and white photos online.. then to stand in those places in the park added charm to our visit. We loved the wholesome feel of the park... the talking scarecrows, Santas barn which was so cute with the decorated Christmas trees and Santa sitting there to greet you and take pictures with... they also had a cute pizza place on the first floor which was decorated in a quaint holiday style. The whole building was classically awesome. The rides in the dry area are mostly geared towards 2-10 year olds. Some of them adults can also go on like the classic ferris wheel,Tilt-a-whirl and kids rollar coaster ( I loved this one). Oh yeah, there are also these two scarecrows kind of in the area behind the buildings/Tilt-a-whirl... you stand by them and you can actually have a conversation with them. Our kids were fascinated... I am still trying to figure out how they did it/where the person was. There is also an old house from I think the 1700's up behind the scare crows that you can look inside - they have original furniture and clothing inside to look at. (and I "think" there is a waterfall up the hill on a path from the old house - we saw someone walking up there saying lets go see the waterfall). The water park section has a large wading pool with about 5-6 individual slides geared towards youngers kids.. and a ship to climb/slide on. There is another pirate ship that is larger and you can also go on/slide/climb... and it has water buckets that dump water every few minutes. I particularly like the lazy river.. it is just a relaxing ride but there are some spots where water quirts at you :) The larger water slides come in easy to more difficult (speed and curves I suppose). There is also a half-pip type water slide, that my husband went on.. looks like you could fly off of it but you just dont, the way it is designed. He said it was quite a thrill. LOMB is interesting because on the dry side you have less rides for teens but the large water slides are ready geared to tweens to adult... My 6 year old went on the easiest of the large water slides which is a tube ride.. but he went with my husband on a double tube. Reminder - no life vests are allowed in the park so our 6 year old twins werent allowed to bring them. They mustly used the wading pool which is not deep and they are tall enough to handle the lazy river (and the pool at the end of the "easy" water slide, which is also only about 3 feet deep when you come out). When we got to the park at 11am (it opens 10am) we saw the water park got really crowded.. I guess some people come there just for that, with their teens (and for themselves). It was fine because we spent about 4 hours in the dry area ont he rides with our 6 and 8 year olds. We also ate mid-day. They have alot of food buildings scattered around...chicken nuggets, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, fries, cheese fries, cotton candy, ice cream, caramel corn.. all around $3-$3.50 price range per item. They do have a 16 piece chick nugget family pack which I think was $7 so its a little savings.... note, the cook in peanut oil so if your child has allergies, bring food (or maybe a hot dog depending upon how it cooked?). The sauces they provide are ketchup, BBQ, honey BBQ (great), mustard. I was happy with the classic carnival type food... it added to the feel of the park. They also had a small petting zoo, an interactive play (we didnt have time to do this) and this mining river - it was cute but you had to buy jewels at the gift shop to mine (or just pick up some gravel off the non-paved ground. Our overall view of the park was cute (its not a massive park), quaint (oh the history!!) and awesome. And by the way, we did not encounter any rude/obnoxious employees nor was there any power outages (and it was an overcast day).. and you CAN bring a stroller but you have to park it outside the water park section - you CAN bring it to the dry area. We hope you enjoy your visit to LOMB because we sure did!

Went with my granddaughter and family last weekend and had a great time. There were so many different things to do -- water slides, lazy river, roller coaster, Santa's Barn, etc -- that everyone was happy the whole time. The food was great too -- best french fries I've ever eaten. I recommend very highly.

I've been going here since a kid & now take my kids. They have fun, yes. But this place is so unwelcoming & act like damn drill seargents. To start the day u can only use cash, ok fine. I had a coupon. While still standing at the window and showing my coupon, she already "put in th computer" without a coupon & wouldn't accept it anymore. No refunds, I even asked to speak to a manager & mgr was so rude & was a snaggletooth. Then under 2 can't ride any rides so they sit in boredom. All over the park are signs can't do this, don't sit here in th shade if u packed your own lunch, go sit in th hot sun unless you buy your food. You can't even go in the lazy river without being in 1 certain position on the tube or get yelled at. Very unwelcoming/rude atmosphere.

Writing this review based on the ride part of the park only. Disappointed at the ride policy at this park. First off, 27 $ for carnival rides is too much. They allow children under 2 in for free but limit them to 4 or so rides. We visited with my 3 yr old and 19 month old. There are many rides were the two of them could have rode together but were told my 19 month old needed a bracelet. The park bills itself as a family park but in the end it is all about the money. In addition, the bathrooms are in poor condition and, in general, the park is run down.
