This market has been around for at least 25 years and has a large following of repeat customers and dealers. A great way to enjoy the outdoors and shop for that special piece or unusual gift. The dealers are very friendly and love to talk about their merchandise and surrounding area. It takes a few hours to walk around to all of the tables and one downside is that the porta potties are a bit rough. Bring hand sanitizer if you plan to use them.
Excellent parking, friendly vendors and amazing variety. Negotiable prices and QUALITY treats for sale!
This is an unusual flea market, most vendors show up overnite and start to set up before the sun rises, then before the regular people show up they trade amongst themselves, then at about 6 am the public starts to arrive ( sometimes even earlier ) if you haven't arrived by 10am some vendors are already packing up and getting ready to leave. When the economy was stronger they would stay all day but now it's in by 4am out by noon. Plus parking has become an issue because there isn't enough room onsite nor anywhere close to hold any over flow, I think this place is going down by the head very quickly just like the Titanic
This is the best antique market in the state. I LOVE to go to Golden Nugget just to wander around and look at all the awesome stuff the vendors have for sale. I always find a few things here and there and meet a few interesting folks along the way. Everyone is super-friendly. And I love making conversation with random strangers who love all things vintage and antique.Definitely check out the vintage shop here. I'm used to New York City vintage prices, but the woman who sells here is way reasonable. A hat that would easily cost 75 bucks in the city costs around 10. And she is sweet as pudding. The entire area is historic. While in Lambertville, be sure to see all the cool things along the Delaware River. Loved seeing the Johnson Ferry House. Loved knowing George Washington did some very important things near Lambertville. (Hi. Crossed the Delaware River to surprise those German mercenaries on the other side!) All these attractions are within minutes of the flea market. Knocked off a star because they NEED TO FIX THE BATHROOM SITUATION. After driving two hours to get to the market, I always have to pee. But if you think I'm peeing in a port-o-potty, you are sorely mistaken.
Although the website says it is open until 4pm, the vendors start packing up really early. We arrived at 1:30 and there were only a few table left and they were packing up their items. After driving 1 1/2 hours it was very disappointing to arrive at an empty parking lot. We found another antique store and asked why they closed so early and we were told they open around 5am and usually close around 1pm.
The Golden Nugget flea market is really a gem. If you like the adventure of a true antique/ curiosity market, don't miss this place. There are plenty of vendors selling vintage items, furniture, fabric, jewelry, even plants. The vendors are friendly and professional. Parking can be tricky, but we always manage.
I had a great lunch at the Nugget. My husband and I ate at Sweet and Savory Cafe. I had a ciabata with prosciutto, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella and my husband had a breakfast sandwich. Great food! They actually had a BBQ outside with sausage and hot dogs. New owners. Must go back! Sue B.
I visited this flea market on a beautiful December Saturday and was disappointed. The outdoor tables were less than a quarter filled with vendors and the quite a few of the indoor vendors were closed. The antique selection was bleak at best. At 11:00 we observed vendors just beginning to unload there wares. It was difficult to navigate through the outdoor tables. It does appear to be a great meeting place for the locals…
This flea market is about a half hour from our home (lucky us!) and we have been visiting it for many years. Indoor year round dealers and seasonal outdoor flea market on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Sundays is the best day, loaded with dealers of all kinds. Most typically used, vintage and antiques with some fruit and snacks mixed in. No handbags or modern clothing. Lots of funky furniture, linens, glass, pottery, architectural finds, silver, minerals, artwork, and more. Tip...wear good shoes, most of the aisles are on parking gravel. I always forget and wear sandals and the footing is unsteady. They have porta potties and a snack bar. Parking is not terrible if you get there reasonably early. A really fun way to spend a few hours.
This Antique Market has loads of items for sale but it is an outdoor (mainly) flea market with a few businesses in a couple of buildings. It is VERY busy on a good day and offers all kinds of stuff for sale.
A fantastic place to find old treasures. A dealers hot spot, they come from all over to either buy or sell. Bring some friends and spend a few $ and a few hours sifting through years of everything and anything including the kitchen sink. Get there early for the best parking. Bring a folding chair if you have a need to sit. There is one building to go through and a few acres of tables outside.
Browsers welcome! This place runs the gamut. All sorts of merchandise from vegetables to antiques is available. There are those non-professionals clearing out estates, antiques dealers, artisans; if you can think about it, it's here. Bring sunscreen and your own bags. There are port-a-potties.
We have been twice, once during the fall and most recently this weekend. It was busy both times but we had no problem finding parking. Last time the indoor antique mall was crowded so we didn't bother going back in. Outside there are a number of vendors selling everything from antique keys to salvaged parts for antique doors and locks to worthless vintage junk. As with any outdoor flea market, could good deals there if you know what you are looking for, and have the patience to come back. My primary annoyance is that the bathrooms are port-a-johns far out of the way, and they're gross, as is the food offering. With some investment by the owners this could be a nice place to go.
One of the last flea markets reserved for antiques and collectables left in New Jersey. Row on row of everything you are looking for from 19th century items to mid 20th century and beyond. Located on the delaware river and onyl a couple of miles from dowtown Lambertville and New Hope Pa, it's a great place to spend a couple of hours shopping or just browsing. There are some buildings with permanent vendors, but the real fun is walking around outside and seeing what finds have been brought to the matket that week. Of course the earlier you get there the better the pickins'. Parking can be a challenge if you haven't been there before, but if you head for the upper lots, there is usually plenty available. After you have spent a few hours wandering around the market, head north to Lambertville for more shopping and good restuarnats and awalk across the bridge to New Hope for even more shopping! Bring comfortable shoes!
Went to the flee market on a Sunday and it was really crowded. Parking was very diffult and the tables seemed very disorganized. The sellers were very nice and helpful. It seemed to me the stuff they were selling was not of high quality. The prices of the items seemed reasonable. I would go back since you never know what you can find.
