We purchased a 2 night stay/water park package for 4. What a waste of $480. The hotel was so ghetto. Our room was a disgrace. We arrived a Friday night at 12am. As we went to lay down we noticed some crusty blood stains on our sheets. I immediately went to the front desk to complain, all I got was "oh sorry" we will send clean sheets up to your room. If it weren't for my 3 sleeping children, I would've checked out right away. On top of that our room had 3 "sticky box" mouse traps just laying out in the open. So disgusting!!! The next morning I tried to check out, and was told that I had to pay $300 for staying 1 night, since I had purchased a package deal. Mind you we got there at midnight!! This place doesn't care about it's guest. We had no choice put to stay. Luckily that morning they switched us out of the room, into a "better one". Your better off just staying elsewhere, and not wasting your time here. We were there two nights and saw cops out front both days. Parents here seem to "turn up". While leaving our room to check out, the hallway was lined up with empty champagne/Hennessy bottles in front of various guest rooms. What are these folks thinking??? As far as the water park, the life guards were pretty good. It wasn't packed and my kids had a good time. ML Hotel really needs to get it together.
Just got back from one overnight. Paid for the package with hotel room that included 4, 2-day waterpark passes and 2-2hour passes to SkyZone. Hotel room = average, very warm, bed felt very lumpy and overused. Sofa bed the same as well as a rollaway we ordered (that was a nice surprise they brought it up quickly). Checkin = as read in other reviews, hotel is understaffed, very slow, not friendly...note to self, never get there at shift change. EVEVATORS = don't get me started. Two very small elevators for the whole hotel....slow as molasses. Totally ridiculous. Waterpark - not being said in a racist way (I am married to an African American male and my children are bi-racial) but I was definitely the minority being caucasian. I state this out of fairness to people who are white and are not familiar with the area and may feel uncomfortable because of old school mentality. In all the pictures on all the sites, all I see are white people and really none at the park. Was just interesting. Way overcrowded. Smaller than it looks in the pictures for sure. Caters to the smaller children. Bigger children will get bored easily. SkyZone - if you've never been, and the front desk doesn't telling you, you must make a reservation to go. You can't just show up on a w/e and expect to be let in. Also, contrary to the front desk of the hotel's info., you DO have to pay for the socks which are $1 (no big deal). This was a good experience for the kids as least. Overall, if I had a do-over, I would have been across the street at any OTHER hotel. It was THAT BAD.
The place was out of control! Children running every where. People were disrespectful. Some one also took my sandals that I had under my table! It also smelled like dirty diapers!! This place is absolutely disgusting! May I suggest Great Wolf Lodge instead?
We came here for a second time. The last visit was 2 years ago during the summer month's when it was much quieter. This time we went in February. The place was packed beyond belief. You could barely get around because of the crowds and birthday parties. We went at twilight, 4pm. Thankfully, we didn't go all day, which would have been a waste of money since the lines for the slides were really long, and the noise and crowds was so excessive, none of us could have spent more than 3 hours tops in this place. Once we got wet, it was cold everywhere except in the water. Not worth it, and the crowd was really low class/trashy. Not allowed to bring any food in, but all they serve is deep fried junk I wouldn't feed my dog.
This hotel/Waterpark is really dirty! We ended up checking in and checking right out only an hour later. They really need to update. My room was nothing like the picture. It was dark red, a few holes in the wall and had dirty floors, which makes you wonder about what you can't see! The hotel temperature was chilly, so not fun for the walk to the waterpark. The front desk is slow and they need more people to check in. The waterpark was so crowded. The elevators weren't working either.
its not as bad as people make it seem. try it for yourselves. the water park is good for the small ones.my 4 year old enjoyed it!

So the tv in our room did not work we called the front desk and a man came up to help by banging on the back of it that was weird the place is over crowded and the employees are not helpful we would never come back and half the arcade cames dont work my boys are 3 and 5 and did not leave with a great visit very dissapointed
The hotel reminded me of a halfway house. There was garbage everywhere. Kids running lose. The park was fun, the bars pricey watery drinks are bad as well. I wish I would have went to another location. And check in time at 4pm and check out at 11am. Forces you to pay ten dollars for a locker when you could have just left your things in the hotel room you payed for. My kids had fun playing guess that's all that matters.
Had my daughter's 7th bday party there. Everyone was ok except for ordering food. Stood inline for 20mins to be told I can't preorder pizza and they didn't have pitchers?! Are you serious?! Went upstairs to the 2 girls who checked us in who couldn't believe I was told that.

Dear Linette,I’m delighted to see your post about your experience at The Hotel ML and CoCo Key Water Park. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the CoCo Key Water Park. However, we’re disappointed that you didn’t enjoy The Hotel ML. We’re an independently owned and operated hotel and we take great individual pride in being so. I’m personally involved in several renovations we’re working on. For example, both the T-Bar and Talia’s restaurant have received wonderful upgrades, and we’re working on a project to start just next week. Additionally, we want you to know that ownership is dedicated to this property. We’re been planning a renovation near the lobby which will transform our guest’s experience. And last but not least, I know more extensive renovations are in the works. The entire management team is dedicated to them, and we’re excited that 2015 will be our best year to date!James – Guest Relations
We have been coming since my 7 year old is 4.. For the first time we opened the pull out bed and there was an empty bed no sheet nothing. We called and still there is nothing on the bed. When talking to the front desk the response we receive is uh huh.. Yeah.. Ok... That is not a respectable answer for a problem.
