What a pleasant oasis on a rainy night after a show at the State Theater across the street. This lounge is beautifully appointed and convenient to downtown NB. They have a nice selection of beers by the bottle and several more on tap. Their wine list is concise and fairly priced. My wife and I and two friends ordered a bottle of white wine, a pint of beer, an order of wings, and an order of "dirty" fries. We enjoyed all this as we watched a college football game on their large tv. The bartender and waitress were friendly enough but need better training. Two flaws stand out. Most places serve white wine too cold, but this wine was not chilled at all. I rectified this by requesting an ice bucket, but a bar should serve all drinks at a proper temperature. Also, when our friend ordered a second beer, our waitress removed his first glass which still contained some beer. Just bring a fresh beer in a second glass! These are relatively minor mistakes, but professional, accommodating service is vital. Both of our appetizers were fine. Overall we enjoyed our post-show visit and would return.

Not as good as it used to be a few years ago. Things have changed here. Food is not as good as before. Stick to simple dishes ( burger, salad). The wings are very small, they're actually what most places would call "winglets". As for those so called "crab cakes", they are nothing more than "hush puppies", 5 very tiny & tasteless balls. If you're there before a show/theatre, order your food early as the service is slow. The servers are nice & courteous. It's a very nice looking as lounges go but don't let that fool you. Just stick to drinks & fries.
