A great stop! Pay for the hour. With pinball machines from the '50s until present, with some old arcade games mixed in, the Silverball Pinball Museum is a great spot for some shade and some old arcade nostalgia. A must-see on the Asbury Park boardwalk..
Made me feel like a teenager again. Great place.Pinball games and others from the 50's 60's 70's 80's. Pac man; etc
Did not do the Silverball justice on my last review so I deleted it. We go there 3-4 times a year [hour+ drive] and just love it. Bunch of classic and newer pinball, lot of console games along with various very unique machines. If time allows I highly recommend the $20.00 all day easy exit/entry deal. Nice to take to stroll on the board walk and take in the ocean. Also right now for every $20 pass, you receive a real good tomato pie! Kids through adults you can't go wrong.
We always spend hours here. The array of Pinball machines is endless. Also a row of 1980's games. Great tomato pies and a very friendly staff make this place a grand slam.
Hosted my husband's 50th here and EVERYONE had a great time. Great atmosphere for a party. Plenty of games to play!
Love to play arcade games from when I was a kid and see my kids enjoy those same games. Open late during the summer.
If you like to play a fun game of Pinball and remember when games required skill and getting out of your house, this is a great place to visit. My husband and I go at least once every winter to enjoy Asbury Park without the beach traffic. There are over 100 well-maintained pinball machines (made from 1930's to the present).
I went with my kids and we had a lot of fun. The tomato pie was really surprisingly good. So much so that I am writing this review. The staff was very nice and they have a huge array of pinball machines. My favorite was the KISS one, because KISS is awesome, and I used to play it when I was a kid. Give it a shot. Certainly worth an hour or two.
I decided to have my birthday here with a bunch of friends. Instead of purchasing the birthday package, our group of 20+ people showed up around 7pm to lock in the 5pm - closing $10 rate. Let me tell you, it was money well spent! The place is BYOB which was amazing. We left our stuff in the middle seating area and walked around with our drinks to play the games. My favorite pinball game growing up was the Indiana Jones' one. Needless to say, they had it! They also had a few shooter games, skeeball, arcade style games, etc. We bought some pizza which came as a small personalized pie and a few sodas. They even had an oldschool photo booth in the front of the store. Everyone had a great time -- would highly recommend on a rainy day or for a smaller group get together!
I never fail to visit the Silver Ball museum when I'm at the Jersey Shore. For $10 you can spend a blissful hour playing any of the 200+ machines in the place. My teenage daughter loves it too, making it a great experience we can share together.Fortunately, Asbury Park is picking up a bit. In the nice weather, once your hour is up, you can walk the boardwalk or have lunch nearby. In colder weather, like today, we drove back towards Main Street for coffee and shopping in the funky little stores.
From childhood games to antique games a great place for the entire family! We vacation in Avon by the Sea and make several trips with our now teenage children. We come on bike, walk or drive up. It is a must see and must do!
this place is so much fun! You pay one fee to get in and then you can play as many pinball machines as you want with no extra charges. It feels like the old days when there were pinball machines all over. Don't think you can win anything (never have) but it's just fun to go from machine & machine until you find one you really like. Maybe some of the younger kids will lose interest but for us older folks it's a good time!
Didn't get to play much but def a spot to check out. The kid's version of Las Vegas!! Haa. Check it out!
Something different to do on a date!! Pinball and video games from every era!! Pay one price and play for an hour!
Great cheap date night, can't beat the location! ESPECIALLY in the winter when the weather is gross. There is also skee-ball and a few older video game machines, but with all the pinball it's easy to forget about them. Protip- BYOB. You can bring a cooler and some beers if you like. Don't be the guy that gets beer everywhere and ruins it for the rest of us. Just don't.
