The beach usually gets crowded near late morning when most get there. The beach has shells near the water but just wear something. The people seem very pleasant and friendly.

The weather for our stay in mid-september was perfect. The crowds had all gone for the season except for a few. There was no beach tag to buy or vying for a good spot, since we pretty much had the whole beach. This was a special trip for our family as we don't get to 'vacation' much, so the fact that it felt like we had the whole ocean to ourselves was unbelievable. So many sweet memories made in our few days there.

The beach is kept very clean of litter and debris, has never had a drowning on a protected beach(approx. every other beach has lifeguards), and the beach is most areas is very wide and sandy, virtually no rocks.

What an experience...polite people, no cigarette smoke wafting, well cleaned by the city.. and, an occasional beer( sometimes it's ok to be bad). We love it down here. We are residents...

I had lunch on the beach. the restaurant was a marina, very good mussels and the view is incredible. We watched the sunset, perfect.

The iconic down-at-the-shore beach; In summer, packed with reveling families, loungers and surfers. In the cooler months, a wide expanse of beach, used by walkers, runners, fishermen, and surfers. A delight for the soul.If the beach is too wind, try the miles long boardwalk, with its shops and cafes.

We have been to Ocean City Beach and boardwalk several times and love it. The beach is clean and you can walk for miles along the waters edge. The boardwalk has great shops as well as your typical tourist items, great places to eat and plenty of benches to sit and people watch. It is a great place to visit for a day, a weekend or a longer vacation. Definitely a must do.

With a clean beach and lots of room at a favorite spot, nothing can beat an ocean breeze to relax you and recharge the old batteries. The water is clean so no worries there either. A walk with your significant other cannot be beat.

The beaches are clean . The people are friendly. The weather is beautiful .lots of places to shop downtown on Asbury Ave .

I liked the fact that the beach was quiet and pretty clean. Lovely to spend the day over day. I do not mind the driving from Emmaus, Pa, but the quietness is marvelous.

This is a great beach to relax and enjoy with family or friends. Really clean and safe to swim along.

Ocean City Beach is wonderful. Everything about it is great and I have no complaints. The beach is very clean and safe. It is very accessible. We even saw dolphins!

OCNJ does a great job keeping the beaches and boardwalks family friendly and relatively economical. Tons of things to do from rides to shopping to dining.

The beach is very wide and long. The water is not very clear and the waves depend of the wind, Very clean and suitable for young people but also for families.
