11 year old daughter had a great time skiing here. She had a private lesson and learned some new techniques. I don't ski but found the Lodge so bright and comfortable. Low key fun mountain
This place is GREAT. Our whole family skied here last weekend and had a blast. The place was relatively crowded due to the Tuck Winter Carnival (business school kids skiing dressed as SpongeBob, Sharks and storm troopers), and there were still virtually no lift lines. Great trails. Looking forward to shussing here again soon.
Great mountain - awesome made to order omelets!! Nice place to take the family although on a busy day the drop off area can be a little crazy.
There were no lines. It was very close. Our car was within one hundred feet of the lift and the lodge. Mid week skiing is reasonable.
A great family ski slope and a place to get away from crowds (and, frankly, New Yorkers). There are two lifts, a slow quad and a slower double -- which operates when there is enough snow for that side of the ski resort. All runs come back to the same place so it is impossible for kids to get lost. Friendly atmosphere and the lodge is beautiful, and the food is pretty good. Do not miss the batter dipped fries -- they are outstanding.
Black diamond slopes and bunny hill, what more could you want? Maybe a bit longer runs, but what the heck. Pretty well groomed and nicely priced. Fun lodge. Just don't expect too much because it's a small mountain, but they make the most of it. Try it for a half day ticket and I'm sure you'll be pleased. Many of my grandchildren have learned to ski here, but I enjoy the tougher slopes as well. There are also a few that are too much for my 67 year old legs...
The Dartmouth Skiway is the perfect start for Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced Skiers. The trails are not too long, but just ideal for steadily increasing your own challenge. It has racing, freestyle, mogles and beginner trails. If you are an advanced expert skier/snowboarder and look for more challanges I would recommend higher mountains though.
