comedians are good. crowds too small. bar tender doesnt have a personality or ability to create drinks from small amounts of liquors to choose from
Our company was looking for something different this year for our Christmas Party. After some research we put this package together. Bus, Food & Laughs. Everyone was very pleased with what we got. First off let me speak for everyone when I say the meal was Absolutely Amazing! From the chicken, Fsh & Steak. Cooked to perfection. The club was held in one of the conference rooms which was large enough to serve us and the Saturday night club arrivals. We were all comfortable. We had 4 comedians that kept us all laughing. The show was a hit with us all. We are still talking about it days later. Thank you for a Fun evening. Great job everyone! Would surely recommend this show.
It's a long one - please hang in there...If you have read any of our past reviews you will quickly conclude that we are not easy to please. However, we are always objective, logical and thorough. We work hard for our money and unfortunately, more often than not, become just fed up with what appears to be the rule - over-priced, over-hyped restaurants, clubs and hotels that simply fail to deliver as promised. When we leave these typical restaurant, hotel and entertainment experiences, we feel more like victims than satisfied customers.Headliners Comedy Club in Manchester, NH is a wonderful exception to rule. This place meets every requirement for a satisfying night out and then some:1. It is very reasonably priced (unlike similar shows one could see in Boston - costing more for crowded, noisy, uncomfortable settings). 2. The acts are consistently entertaining and funny. (It is not uncommon for us to have tears streaming down our cheeks because we are laughing so hard.)3. Free street parking is everywhere. (Again, unlike Boston for example, where parking is just one more opportunity to waste more money for a potentially "so-so" night out).4. Customers are treated as Guests, not just customers. As a previous reviewer wrote, yes, the setting is in a Hotel and not in its own facility or building. This is, in our opinion, irrelevant to us and most who attend. We could not care less about who owns the building. The setting is exactly what is needed to present the show and meet the needs of the attendees. And buildings cost money. And guess who picks up the added costs? The Customer. I would rather pay a reasonable price for a ticket and go to a hotel (where, by the way, there is a comfortable lobby, fireplace, restaurant and a bar should we so desire, in a very pleasant setting) than pay more than double and sit as a captive, in a tight, noisy setting that the Comedy Club owns. Our priorities are clear. The Owners (and Staff) could not be nicer. They personally acknowledge our presence, engage us directly, are warm, friendly, professional and accommodating. We are made to feel that we belong - unlike most other entertainment and restaurant experiences anyone would typically have. We leave the Club laughing, talking about the acts and relaxed - as we have just experienced a wonderful escape from our 12 to 18 hour work days.Check it out and form your own opinion.
Headliners is a lot of fun! I've been several times and enjoy the comics, the staff and the people in the audience. If you're looking for laughs, you'll find them right here in Manch-Vegas!
I took my now-wife here on one of our very first dates, and thankfully, she's still with me! Must have been the alcohol that allowed us to survive the "talent" offered to us. This so-called "Club" is just a conference room in the Radisson Hotel, and it is really a terrible location and looks really cheesy. The "bar" is just a table at the back of the room. Sad, really, but what do you expect for a New Hampshire comedy club? The comics themselves were so-so, but again, this wasn't Denis Leary or another local big name...these were 50-somethings who've been on the road their whole lives trying to eke out a living. We weren't shocked or surprised that it wasn't superb, and there were a few laughs in there, so I wouldn't ask for my money back, but I don't think we'll be going there again.
