Able Ebenezer is a new venture. Started by some US veterans with an independant philosophy, the focus is on fresh, high quality beer. The "tasting room" in Merrimack is a lounge, inside their brewery facility, in an industrial park setting. Once inside however, it feels right. The focus is definitely on beer, with one TV, and chips and hot dogs the only fare. Epithets to their pholosophy adorn the walls, that pholosophy being freedom and having the courage to take it. Regardless of one's political bend, the staff is friendly and you are likely to be served by one of the owners, who will be happy to engage in conversation about their various beers. There are usually 4 or 5 varieties on tap. If you are staying in the area, you should take the tour at the mega-brewer down the street and maybe take some pics with the Clydesdales, just be sure to also stop in to Able's to sample some real craft brews and actually talk to the owners and makers of the beer.

Great beer. The staff ... Not so great. Very unfriendly. Came with a guest and felt like we were imposing . They definitely did not want to be there. Unfortunately their attitude gives the brewery a poor rating.

We are regulars here, my hubby has growler that he refills often. We have never had a bad beer and the atmosphere is fantastic. If you are looking for a a great place to try some tasty beer this place is it! You will not be dissapointed!
