An absolute blast for both family parties and business trips. Very organized, professional and a hell of a great experience!Go for at least 4 minutes per person (not 2). Wear sneakers & relaxed clothing. They'll teach you the rest!
Simulated sky diving at SkyVenture was awesome! Our instructor was super helpful. He eased our fears with easy to understand directions. Flying was easy and fun. He was right there the whole time and did some high flying tricks at the end. We signed up for 2 2 minute fly times. The 1 minute times probably would have been enough though. Wasn't anticipating sore arm muscles the next day, but totally worth it!
Very organized, professional, and FUN! All of the staff are happy to be there and genuinely enjoy their jobs. We got to meet Laurie (not sure of the spelling ) the owner and heard about her unique hiring process, and I will try the same thing. The food is great, fresh, somewhat creative. This is not cheap entertainment and there is no cheap part of the experience. Everything from interactions to what you see feel and touch is experience based and really held together nicely. This is a shining example of what experience based entertainment should be and it's the antithesis of a Disney type place where greed and lust for profit above all else are only thinly veiled in fun and experience is plainly disregarded. I will absolutely go back.
Outing at SkyVenture is a little pricey but soooooooo worth it, make a teenager smile ....priceless!!!! Keeping a teenager off the phone texting and involved, full time job while on vacation.... ShyVenture delivers!!!!! skydiving was incredible instruction and instructors incredible . Photos are very expensive but this is an excellent trade off ......once again priceless, this is a bucket list must. A video DVD will cost you , Pictures $12 to $15 each but you only live once.. This trip will hit hard in the pocket but to watch the reward , WELL WORTH THE PRICE......
I went here with a large group just after Christmas. The event was pretty organized and the staff went out of the way to make your day a remember able one. The flight experience & surfing experience were awesome. The food was very good for a family atmosphere and priced very fairly. I would recommend this event for the price I paid but not sure if I would have been happy if I had paid the regular rate to attend this place.
I've tried everything here. From the Windtunnel to the FishPipe, EVERYTHING was awesome. My favorite was the indoor skydiving. Everything is worth the price. Surfing was pretty hard for me, but my first time was pretty good. Instructors help a lot also, and make it easier. Anyone can skydive, which is good. The 3 year old minimum is pretty good, considering that 2 and younger wouldn't be very strong, or too light. If you want to skydive, GO FOR IT! Next, the FishPipe. It may seem scary at first, but you'll want to go faster. Three simple rules: Have fun; Thumbs up to go faster; and thumbs down to slow down. The water inside makes it fun, and DO NOT underestimate sliding inside. Because it's like a little hamster wheel, you can run inside. Falling doesn't hurt at all inside the chamber, making it fun to fall. When I go, I put my thumbs up again and again for full speed, and spin around fast. The controller knows that I like to go fast, so I try to run at the start while he makes it full speed. (I always fall). I went on the FishPipe 5 times today, which I loved every minute of. Now, the surfing. I had one long round of it, being my first time. I stayed on as long as 10 seconds. The pool has a bump in the middle, making a wave to surf on. I haven't tried this, but you can ask for a barrel wave so they take the HUGE ramp and put it near the front of the pool. The instructor helps you a lot, so it is easy to surf for a while. The instructor also holds the board until you are ready to surf. In that same pool, they have boogie boarding for the last 10 minutes. I found that awesome. The water current is so fast, it pulled my knee guards off! Luckily, all I needed for the boogie board elbow pads. To stay afloat and moving, you need the front up. That might make that hard because you jump in, instead of climbing in. That is pretty fun, jumping. So, the VERY BEST was the indoor skydiving. It was worth it, flying. If you've ever wanted to fly, go to skyventure. Surfing, rock climbing, INDOOR SKYDIVING, FishPipe, boogie boarding, just get up and go. Always a great place for fun. Highly recommended.
LOVED IT! On the expensive side and they charge too much for the pictures but what a great experience. Instructors get that it's a bit scary and are so helpful.
Took my nieces to do some indoor skydiving. The girls had a blast!! The staff was excellent and their instructor was awesome! I had so much fun just watching them. I spent a bit more money so they could get an extra minute and to for the instructor to shoot them up to the top of the tunnel. The indoor surfing was fun to watch and appealed to my nieces as well. Great fun and a way to prepare you for actual sky diving. You watch a lot of the expert jumpers doing their fancy moves and was incredible to watch.
We decided we weren't quite ready to jump out of a plane, so indoor sky diving sounded like the perfect alternative. I can't tell you how much fun we had.Ask for Josh, he was a great instructor, lots of fun and really laid back. His great attitude made all of us more relaxed. We went with the 4 minute option and I highly recommend splurging on that. The first session of two minutes you're so anxious to try it that it flies by. You're in there just trying to get the hang of it. The next time I went in, I was more relaxed and I just floated along enjoying myself. In the last 30 seconds the instructor took you up toward the top and spun you around a little. You have to do this, it was the best part. It gave you just a little taste of what it's like to be someone who knows what they're doing! It's not a cheap day, but it was worth it. It's a really cool thing to try that not a lot of people can say they've done. So much fun!!!
This is a really fun experience! Like nothing else around. Our group had kids through adults and all had a ball. They also have indoor surfing. The one drawback is the lack of organization in booking and check in. All kids at the front desk who were more interested in hanging out than working. Strange hours.
My son husband and I tried this out.what a blast lots of fun pretty physical but my son said loved it and when you have a teen say that then its good. Reservations are recommended
We heard about this place on TV when one of the local news channels was filming a quick report about it. The kids loved what they saw and my wife promised them we will visit. I booked the skydiving and the surfing sessions on the phone, and the lady that answered was so helpful; she went over the entire plan, explaining every little detail of what to expect. She did an awesome job. When we arrived (Sunday around noon), we were quickly checked in (using their iPads), got upstairs, went into the quick introductory lesson, got dressed (helmets, etc...) and off we went inside the flying room, waiting for our turns. We were a group of 10 (along with other people), and we had signed up for the 2 mins session. The instructor took each one of us twice into the flying room. The first session was just to get familiar with the surroundings and float within 4 -5 feet from the ground. The second session, the instructor took us about 10-15 feet up in the air. That was amazing. It is a bit pricey, so if you can afford to pay for more minutes, go for it.Over all, it took about an hour from start to finish. Then we were ready for our surfing class, it is a 30 mins session where you learn how to surf (instructors and guards onsite), and the last few mins of the session they let you have fun on your own. For an extra $10, you get an extra 10 mins...We bought the combo tickets for the kids, so they got to also ride in that big spinning ball simulating a long water slide. Both kids loved it. The rock climbing wall was for an extra $10.We all had a great time, but as most have mentioned in other reviews, the place is a bit pricey. With food and drinks and a session of rock wall climbing, we spent over $400 for few hours of fun. They allow you to take pictures and videos if you are outside the flying/skydiving room. So remember, if you are flying along with your party, make sure you have someone outside taking photos and videos. Otherwise you will have to buy them (if you want to), and they are expensive. A video DVD will cost you $15. Pictures $12 to $15 each, package ~ $150. I thought that was very, very expensive. They will not allow you to take photos and videos during the surfing session. I thought that was ridiculous. I still managed to take few photos of the kids.Food was good. Your basics pizzas, fries, smoothies, burgers, etc... Prices are decent.I would definitely recommend this place to others, even with young kids... great memories.
SkyVenture is amazing! We wanted to do something special as a family to celebrate our son's 13th birthday. He has always been fascinated by skydiving, but my wife and I were reluctant to allow him to do something like that. Lucky for us a neighbor told us about SkyVenture. What an incredible experience! All the fun of skydiving without the dangerous edge. Can't say enough about the team at SkyVenture. They were all very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and concerned about our comfort level and understanding of the process. A memorable experience for the whole family.
I always wanted to experience skydiving but knew I'd never jump out of perfectly good plane..Skyventure was the answer We had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful,We will be going again!
I went with my family we range in age from 8 to 77. We had a ball. How else could we fly without wings. The staff was very friendly. They also have Surfs up. there is a small eating area with excellent food. The owner Laurie chatted with us while we ate. She is very aware of putting out top quality experience.Even the people in our group were fun to chat with.I would highly recommend this place. grab your spirit of adventure. It's never to late to try.
