Visited here last August on a real hot day..I brought along my nephews, aged 10 & 6 years. They loved it all day long! The rides are exciting and appropriate for the target age group, and of course that makes it so much fun for the whole family! It was a bit crowded mid-day, but we just had our picnic lunch and hung @ the water-park for a while and the crowds thinned out. The park is kept really clean and all the staff was very pleasant and attentive to the little ones. It was a little pricey, but still a must-do. If you are trying to choose between Storyland and Santa's Village, the short extra ride to Santa's Village is well worth it. Don't forget your suit &towel! And don't forget the sun-bloc!!!
We had fun, and it was not exactly how I remembered it from when I was a kid (1960's) but our kids had a fun day. The water park is a wonderful addition. Some rides are a bit dated and some just need to be replaced. Our kids do want to go back.
We visited in late June with our daughters (9 and 11). We spent about 5-6 hours at the park and went on just about every ride and spent a hour at the water park. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering you can visit a water park for no additional fee. The lines were short and the staff was friendly. The park was clean, even the water park area. We forgot towels, so we bought one as a souvenir which was a little pricey (I think about $15). There was plenty of seating for us adults who preferred to watch. The water slides looked like a blast! My favorite part was visiting Santa's reindeer. For a few dollars you could feed them treats. Broadcaster some of my favorite pictures. You really feel like you are in the middle of a forest with fun rides. The best attraction in New Hampshire!
We visited Santa's Village with our 6 year old son and had a wonderful time. The park is wonderfully kept and a lot of thought has been given to engaging the visitors while in the park. The kids had name tags so Santa and the elves knew their names when they saw them and there was a scavenger hunt that took you to all the different areas. The park is very clean, the staff range from teen to older adult and are very friendly and engaging. There are lots of fun rides and food vendors. Then when you get hot you can cool down at the water pad or at the wonderful water park. The park has a very welcoming and safe feel. Lots of shady places to take a break and get out of the sun. The only down fall is that it is in a very remote area of NH. There is not much around the park other than the park so you are there for the day . I would highly recommend this for families with young children. Enjoy!!!
Kids Had an awesome time there. Unforgettable memories! the train ride was awesome and the kids loved the crafts!
The kids had a blast as did the adults. In addition to the amusements they have this "game" where you find the different elves across the part, stamp your card and get a gift before you leave. This was fun for all. The water amusement was great on the very hot day we were there.
This place absolutely lived up to the "hype". The weather was 8 degrees that night! And my family and I STILL had a terrific time. For the 1 price of admission, we got to sample as much food and goodies ( those "doe-nuts") were to die for - "hot" off the griddle, ride on all the rides ( yes, even freezing on the giant ferris wheel) and, a very special event for my 7-year old granddaughter feed the "live" reindeer! The place wa magical with Christmas lights on all the trees, Santa in his little bungalow and elves all about. When 2 teenage boys say, on the way to the car, "you were right, Gram, that was alot of fun!", then you know , these people are doing something right!!!!
We spent the afternoon at Santa's Village just before Christmas. I was a little sceptical, given that we do not usually like amusement parks but this was magical. From the forest setting to the kid-friendly rides, and twinkling lights, our family had a wonderful time. We appreciated that the prices INSIDE the park were not inflated, as they so often are and the employees who were friendly and helpful. A few more "elves" wandering around would make the experience more authentic, especially for little kids. That being said, although worth it, it is very expensive. They should at least have special pricing for toddlers who cannot take advantage of many of the rides.
Went to Santas village back in the 80's when I was a kid and brought my kids here in 2014. Love this place! If you love Christmas then you have to go here!
The place was super-clean, staff was great, this amusement park is very family-centric. We had a blast
Santa's Village, thank you again for a wonderful New Year! As promised in my review from last New Year's Eve, we came to your facility to ring in the new year. We enjoyed your facility this past summer and brought several other families with us. Last night was such a wonderful night. It was freezing out, but we were well prepared. Again, I can't say enough about this place. Each time we go, whether in the summer or for new year's, we have such a wonderful time. See you this summer and next New Year's Eve!
A wonderful and yearly visit to Santa's Village is a must for people with young children. We go every year with the kids and grand kids. A must see at Christmas time
Great place to visit...especially on your birthday, in the snow and just as a big kid! Nice place, really friendly staff and although a bit pricey was all good fun!
Thank you for visiting Santa's Village for our Christmastime celebration in December. We're pleased to hear so many nice comments about your experience: the fun activity, the magical decorations and views, how your kids loved to feed the reindeer, and how wonderful you found the candy store to be. We're surprised to hear you didn't spend much time with us, although it's clear you were not comfortable with the outdoor temperatures. And we're disappointed to learn you found the restrooms to be substandard; we put a great deal of effort into providing clean and warm restrooms for our guests to enter directly from the snowy outdoors, and we work hard to keep up with the slushy floors and other items that result from heavy use.We hope you'll have a chance to visit with us again, perhaps during our summer season, when the views and activities can be enJOYed in warmer temperatures. And we wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year!
I took my sons, ages 6 and 7, and they loved it. We had a great time. When you visit in December dress for the weather: snow pants, long John's, whatever. Lots to see and do. I found the food court had a good variety and the prices were not too unreasonable as they tend to be at other places. My kids definitely want to go back. I must say I was very impressed with how well all the walkways were shoveled clear!! Great time had by all!!
