Employees were very nice and helpful. Good selection. Chocolate covered oreos were good. Peanut butter fudge not worth buying.
Sandborne's Candy offers a fun variety of molded chocolates, everything from frogs, to lobsters, to motorcycles. They have bags of candy for sale, but I was disappointed that they didnt offer a mix-and-match option. If you wanted Swedish fish and chocolate non-parcels, you had to buy two full bags, almost two pounds of candy and lots of $$. I watch my weight so was disappointed i couldn't just buy a little. You can buy chocolates by the piece, and I bought an orange filled chocolate, and a coconut one dipped in dark chocolate. Both were quite flavorful and I enjoyed the small treat. My husband couldn't resist buying a bag of the caramel corn, which I sampled (of course!) and found to be good except for the peanuts. My older son bought a bag of peanut butter logs, and my younger son found his beloved maple sugar candy. They have a variety of salt water taffy which you can buy by the piece as well. One nice thing was they had bags of "kid favorites" ready to go, for $3.25, I believe. That made it easy for a dad who came in with his two small kids. A big helping of candy and a good price. The store is small but very clean, tidy, and charming. I'm sure we'll visit again.
Not that good and extremely overpriced. Chocolate candies were turning white and the fudge just didn't seem that fresh.3% discount if paid with cash, LOL!! PS, no cell phones allowed in store!!!
Everything is good and tasty here. Some of the prices may be a little steep, but understand it is a family business. Havent been to the other location yet, but enjoy coming here time and time again.
We enjoy visiting Sanborn's every time we venture to NH. They have a large selection of candies, including sugar free and specialty items. The only draw back is they don't have a penny candy area, or an area were you can pick and choice what you want. They only sell bags of candy. It is good, the prices a little high, but well worth the trip.
