amicus adventure sailing

My wife and I planned a trip to visit Duluth in the fall and came across Amicus Adventure sailing. Mark was easy to communicate with, worked with our schedule and full of information about the local area and sailing. He's sailed all over the world! We felt safe and at home aboard his 40 foot boat and enjoyed our trip. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in sailing and or visiting Duluth.

Our adult children gave us a gift certificate for Amicus Adventure Sailing which we used this past weekend. Operating out of the Knife River Marina just north of Duluth, the Gordon's provide a great sailing experience on their 40 foot steel cutter sail boat. While the wind was not the most cooperative for sailing, we still enjoyed our trip and will definitely return next summer!

Our family was visiting from Germany and wanted to experience what Lake Superior had to offer. We arranged a half day sailing trip and that was the highlight of the trip to the North Shore. We left Knife River and sailed down toward Duluth. The wind was right and the weather was beautiful. Captian Mark was knowledgable about the lake and the region and taught the family about sailing. This is truly a NOT TO BE MISSED EXPERIENCE.
