dive bar

Went here for the KDWB Owl City performance with some friends. The stage was in a decent location, and we even got some free beers from the whiskey girls. We ordered the nachos for a snack and they were BY FAR the worst nachos I have ever had in my life. There was iceberg lettuce on the chips, unmelted cheese, and to top it off...COLD, watery chicken. The chicken was not edible, I literally spit it out. Luckily one of my friends ordered it. If it was me I would have since it back in an instant. Since the nachos were gross and we were hungry, we ordered the chicken strip basket with fries. They tasted like they were from the frozen food section of a grocery store. I know its a "dive bar" and I shouldn't except a delicacy...but it would be nice if the food was edible! Moral of the story, DRINKS ONLY at this place!

i'm a Lawyer who works all around the world and i came one time to that little tiny place, cool and somehow sort of fancy wanna be..lolThere was a Caucasian tall (6'2 average) athletic guy, blond hair looking like Barbie's ken...LMFAO, (Excuse my English)..but if i was about to talk the right way anyone who likes to go to this place would not understand, well..Ken "lol, Blond bouncer at the door", refused entrance reciting the so called law by him...LOL!!!"You can't get in, you need a MN state I.D"..LOL, such a funny young man!!!!!...What if I am from WI now, You need a MN state I.D...(even more funny)...Seriously, Boy you gonna get in troubleBecause this Place hire and position IGNORANT who never seen further than the Stop sign of their block, at the entrance they will get it too...(how funny!!!...lol)Have you guys ever Heard About Equal Opportunity rights?...Well I'm Inviting EVERYONE WHO GOT OFFENDED BY THAT PLACE TO GOOGLE THEIR RIGHTS FROM LEGAL SOURCES.THIS PLACE IS NOT LEGIT AT ALL AND ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WORKS IN AND OFFENDED CUSTOMERS SHOULD ALL BE FIRE AND GET SOME LONG VACATION IN BECAUSE IT IS REALLY DISRESPECTFUL TO STEREOTYPE CUSTOMER AT THE DOOR DUE TO " MR. this place is usually an ok place. my friends and i go every weekend and this particular weekend the security guard wanted to see my shoes after looking at my ID, which was kinda odd because i wore them several times before....when i asked him why he wanted to see them he said because i dont look 5'6 in heels...that was ridiculously stupid, but i still had a good time anyway =)

For those of you who like youngins dancing around and somewhat expensive drinks then this is your place. If your looking for classy, don't go.

don't go there..i went over there for the football game...but this bar is terrible at best and racist too i think..i went to the bathroom and they gave my seat away to other people because they are buying more stuff i guess and the stupid server/patron won't even answer me when i was asking what's going on.

I've been going to the Dive Bar for years, even back when it was T-Birds if some of you younger kids can remember what it looked like before the name change and remodel. I love it there. To me, I know I can walk through the door, talk with the bartender and have a good time. Their food is always decent and reasonably priced, and I have to say they do have some of the best drink specials in town. I've never had any issues with dress code, the drinks being weak or the bouncers asking me to leave. As far as I know, none of my friends have ever been asked to leave either. If you haven't been in the place for a while, I highly recommend it. Not only are the bathrooms up to date, and generally always clean, they have a great dining area. As well as multiple pool tables and a dart room. They also have a large VIP area that offers bottle service on club night. The smoker's area on the patio is top notch. seriously, that heater will dry the sidewalk, even when the weather is cold, you don't have to worry about a gust of wind blowing you away.I know it sounds like I work for the place and this is some lame promotion but, I assure, I'm just a regular patron like everyone else. I've come to know and love the Dive Bar and can't understand why people have any problems with it.

I always go to the Dive Bar and have been since i turned 18 and am now 24. I usually go there on Thursdays and Saturdays and always have a great time. As far as the above comments go about dress code. If you know your not supposed to wear it, don't try and stretch it and see if they won't notice...and then moan and groan about it and say they're so strict. I have been going to this place for 6 years or so and the staff knows me by name and i know most of them. They give exceptional service and i love this place. I would go and try new bars, but why? I always know i am going to have a good time when i go here.

I enjoy going to this bar because they do not let all the trouble makers intot he palce and that helps with drunk fights and stupidness. I do like their strict dress code and their no bull crap attitude. you have to be some what of a Jerk when you are working at any bar because you do not want people to think that they can go to a place and do what they want because the staff is not going to do anything about it. I have read the reviews from other people and if you are asked not to waer a certain kind of clothing why keep going back every time wearing the saem thing? You are going to be told the saem thing every time!

Well i had just a bad week so far and just wanted to go out and have some fun and we all get there and it seems everytime i go to this bar it is something stupid i have a tiny logo on the back pocket of my jeans that was mostly covered up and they said i couldnt get in i got real mad about it and said they let other people in all the time with big logos on there shirts and that mine was stupid nothing offensive or anything just the name of the pants indigo. So i said F this place and then one of the other security guys told me just go change and he will get me in for free. I also apologized to the dude that i was being loud with which he did not accept it. But then i go back to my house and found some pants that had nothing on them. Went back to the same club and he said come back next week it was such bs i had 10 friends in there having a good time and also when i was leaving the place i seen about 15 people go in there with big BIG logos on there shirts and designs and pants. Why the hell do they get to go in and not me this is not right every time i go there i get this for no reason and if i was any of you guys i would not go to this place for any reason at all they are [--] and there drinks are weak and just rude service all the way. I think it was a lot of discrimination to me from the manager of the place maybe i reminded him of someone that he dont like which should not have been tooken out on me at all. Rate this bar a -5 out of a 10 yes negative 5.

Same as previous reviewers experience only I am a mature 30 yr old woman. I was dancing with my male friend and my other female friend was just sitting at a table by herself. A little tired since she had been up at 5AM for work and it was now 1AM. Security guy asked her to come with her & took her to the door and told her to leave. She asked why & he said she had too much to drink. She asked him if she could go get her friends and he said no leave. After another asking he agreed to come get us. My problem is that she did nothing wrong-no fighting arguing not even talking to anyone and they kicked her out!! Also didn't even ask to call a taxi or anything for her. Did they expect her to drive if they thought she had too much!! Also we are in our 30's have money to spend and are very uper class type people. I guess they prefer the 18 yr olds they let in that supposedly aren't drinking. We will NEVER go back. What an awful place.

It was my sisters 21st birthday, so a group(8) of us went out and ended up at the Dive. I'll keep it short and simple!!!!!! The mixed drinks sucked. It felt like they made me sober. I was already feeling good from 2 drinks i had at the previous bar. I had 3 mixed drinks at the dive and i got perfectly sober. I had to give up on the mixed drinks and go to bottled beer. We wanted to order food so i went and got a menu and asked for a waitress to come to our table. I went back to playing pool, after 30 minutes still no waitress. I sent 2 other people from our party to the bar to ask for a waitress, almost 15 minutes later we finely got our waitress. We were all playing pool and trying to enjoy our drinks but for some reason security kept bothering us. Well mainly one person in our party. They found any and every reason to harrass him. The last reason was because his white tee was hanging a little lower then his dress shirt. Now come on we looked around and spotted 5 other people who's shirts were hanging even lower below there shirts. Why bother us. When we asked why they were bothering us and not everyone in a very calm manner, they told us it was time to leave. Thanks for ruining her Birthday!!!!!!!!When this club was the bird it was our spot. I used to go there at the least once a month. Now i will never go there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
