roseau city park

We live in Roseau and this is definately my children's favorite place to visit in town. There are quite a few spots for camping, the bike paths are accessable from the park, there is river access for people wishing to enjoy the Roseau River, but my daughters LOVE the kid area the most. There are two jungle gyms, a sandy area to play in, tire swings and regular swings with a handicapped swing added to include everyone. There is a covered area with picnic tables for adult comfort and to set up a picnic for all the hungry, playing kids in a birthday party or family reunion situation and it's located right next to the play area. This is a beautiful kid friendly place to spend some time when you visit Roseau in the summer months (sorry but if you visit during the winter months, you won't be able to experience this child friendly treasure). The city does spray and they do the best they can but I recommend throwing a can of mosquito repellant into your bag with the sunscreen as this is northern Minnesota & they are everywhere.
