They managed to screw up nachos - cold cheese, awful everything else. The atmosphere is ok if you are into country western, but go eat elsewhere at the west end.
Have come here multiple times. I have found out that the food and drinks are highly priced, and the service is terrible. I started avoided eating here and coming for the bands. They usually require a cover charge. The bouncers at this location randomly told one of my friends to leave after standing in the crowd and watching the band. We had an entire group with us and I asked to speak to the manager and ask what the hell was going on. The manager offered our entire group a round of drinks and apologized (although we NEVER received the round of drinks). After reading tons of reviews on Facebook, many people have had the same experience. Will not go back. I recommend Yard House, Rojo, Crave and Cooper! Talk about a crappy place in an amazing area!
Love the this bar and grill ya'll. I had a great lunch with family and friends. Delicious chicken sandwich and fries. Next time I will be there in the evening when there is music. A welcome venue to the St. Louis Park scene.
Very loud bar, live band, $5 cover charge to enter, waitress was kind of ditsy. Inside was so loud because of band, so we sat outside. Ordered drinks, and didn't get what we ordered. Took waitress three requests to fix drink before she finally brought right drink. Food was bland and cold by the time we received it...we were so hungry, we decided not to complain, eat and got the heck out of there to go visit a bar next door. Thought it would be a fun bar because we are Toby Keith fans, not so much. Keep walking on to next bar/grill.
We went as a group of seven for my son's birthday. The food was ok, the drinks were on the pricey side but the biggest disappointment was the lack of atmosphere. I booked Toby Keith's because I thought it would be fun and loud.... Wrong! The music was so low even a lip reader would have problems knowing what Toby was singing on the big screen! Wouldn't rush back, Margaritaville is a far better option on all counts.
I was there a little earlier in the evening so I can't comment on the entertainment. But, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was very good. I was impressed by the menu selection, and went with the Mahi Mahi. I wasn't disappointed at all. I would go again. Maybe a little later next time to enjoy the entertainment as well.
Bruce Larson & The Rocky Mountain Band are great! The place is huge, friendly staff and awesome music!https://m.facebook.com/BruceLarsonTheRockyMountainBand
OK, so I was in there early before the band started. I just wanted food and something to drink. The staff were all friendly and that's what the 3 points are for. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. the burger just taisted burned and the fries were hard. I left them and just couldn't get the burger down. Also, I sat in a booth and felt like a small child. The seat was so low making the table top cime up to my chest. Not for me.
Good location in the city, nice place with pretty good food, live music. Went there with a group of 10 and waited over an hour for a table. Open tables big enough for the group but can't sit there. Why? No idea despite asking 3x.
We had to ask to have a waitress take a order, waited 30 min for food. She never asked us how food was or didnt refill beverages. We had to aske for our bill and she had attitude...very poor service!
I could not write on anything special for Toby Keith's. We went their as a group for our business get together. The service was poor. The place was huge and not very well attended. The quality of the food was less than mediocre. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because I had was riding was someone else, otherwise I would have left much earlier.
My girlfriend and I went here last night (Saturday) around 8 pm for dinner. We were told there was a 20 min wait for a table. We walked around the bar and looked for a couple bar stools. All of them were full and many of them had been put away because of the band that was to play later. We wanted to eat and i asked the bouncers if they could provide a couple of chairs at the bar because we wanted to eat and not stand. We were told no that they took chairs away for when the band starts. LAME! Both rooms off to the side were "reserved" for private party. I have been here before and they've always had chairs around the entire bar. I'm not sure when this changed. Also there is not a very big dining area in here. Approx 25 minutes later we did get a table. We were seated and waited another 20 min for a server to come by. We ordered and we got our food and no one ever came back to check on us. We needed more katchup and drinks. We didnt bother eating all our food because the service was CRAP. We were done eating and I had to flag down the server to ask for our tab and for to go boxes. I had a turkey bacon burger which was fair at best. I highly doubt I will go here again due to the crappy service and lack of chairs/seating around the bar.
The food was excellent an they had a stage and Toby Keith is talented and it is a country and western bar in Saint Louis Pak , Mn
Why would anyone in their right minds, who doens't like country music, dancing or Southern food even set foot in the place - much less open the menu and order!!! Toby Keith's is a COUNTRY MUSIC BAR ..... Hello! They serve Southern food, nothing fancy or pretentious there and doens't try to be. The food is fine, the staff is pleasant, efficient and accomodating, and the entertainment rocks!! If you are looking for fine dining and a quiet place hold intimate conversations, this probably isn't the place that should be 1st - or even 2nd on your list .... c'mon people, let's rate a place commensurate with exactly what it advertises itself to be - not what you are trying to compare it with or wish it would have been! Cowboy hats? ... Country bar? Gee, not too big a surprise there .... and I don't know where all of those come from, but I do know that MN is home to a very large and active rodeo community who travel the circuit. Man, do you walk in a law office and wonder why they are wearing suits? Or go to church and wonder why anyone is wearing their SUNDAY BEST? Toby Keith's is doing a fine job of serving the interest of the community it draws, that is quite obvious from those crowds .....
Can't image how anyone finds this place appealing -- loud offensive music, and the food is not even marginal. Many other good restaurants to choose from.
