A truly amazing experience, the wolves are beautiful and it is humbling to see such creatures. Very educational. Highly recommended!

Well curated, handsome facilities, knowledgeable staff, engaging for all ages. I would go again and highly recommend it

Nice friendly people and an interesting place that's actually based on science and not emotion or rhetoric.

The exhibit is quite beautiful and the staff is knowledgable. Plan to spend some time to take everything in. The area is also quite beautiful and peaceful.

Our family visited the center last summer. We wished we would have gone during a feeding time. Call ahead and find out the schedule. Make a trip to the Bear Center while there too!

The Wolf Center is worth a stop. It's not large, you can cover it in an hour or two. The center has several wolves and a knowledgeable staff.

This is an education centre with 4 professors and a cadre of keen knowledgeable support staff. Research in the area complements the centre.. With patience and time wolf sittings very possible.Easy to fill the camera frame withhead shots...yes that close. Large glass windows allow that.Just go.

I have been here numerous times. The wolves are fantastic and so are the folks who work here. There is a wonderful and very informative exhebit. If you visit during the summer, come earlier in the morning or late evening. The wolves sleep during the day.If you come during the rest of the year, pick a day with fresh snow. They love it! That's what I did today and all four wolves were out and active (Nov 8) around noon. These are beautiful animals. Bring a camera! If you have children, they will love it!

Well thought out museum they educate you about wolves but do not impose any opinions on you. That was our fear before going is that it would be all pro wolves and some propaganda but it was not. Very good exhibits and very helpful staff.

No need to be afraid of wolves. Stop here and you'll learn about their intelligence and how much they care about each other. There are plenty of things to keep you busy, like a video theater, special exhibits, and lots of adventure trips, but the thing that we like best are the wolves, themselves. A great staff runs this place, and they are extremely knowledgeable about wolves, the environment, and how wolves and humans can get better at living together. Stop in and see for yourself.

The presentation was very educational and informative. There were lots of interesting pictures and facts on the screen to back up the presentation. The gentleman was very interesting and had a great deal of knowledge. He past articles through the audience for close up examination and there was plenty of time for questions and answers. Lots of really large windows overlooking the wooded area where the wolves live. They currently have four adult wolves, three males and a female. We were able to see two of the males and the female up close. When we were there they also had an exhibit of photography by a local photographer of the northern lights entitled "Aura". Very beautiful. There was also a nice gift shop.

The building and displays were very well done. Observing wolves through a window is not the experience expected for the price paid. They are "not trying to judge if wolves are good or bad" but really they are. The bear center was better.

Going to the Wolf Center was ok, We went during the day and actually got to see the Wolves. I was standing by myself when one of them walked right up to me, so I got a great picture. I was more excited about the Wolf I saw on the drive to Ely than the ones penned up at IWC though.Once you've seen it there is no need to go back.

The wolves were very active the day we were there! The staff was very helpful. Great way to spend a rainy day indoors.

The wolves are sleepy in the day, I recommend doing a night program. We did both programs on Saturday night. Wolf feed ing and wolf speak. Wolf speak takes you off the property on a bus to hear wild wolfs . It is a few hours long and starts at 830 so not good for little kids. Also we were in a very dark forest at night listening to wolves so that would be to much for most kids. Oh and you need to be VERY quiet . I loved the programs. REMEMBER this is not a zoo. it is a teaching center. there a 4 wolves there currently for you to observe . they also have 30 minute movies . call ahead to sign up for night programs they fill up fast . if you forget you may get lucky and get a last minute opening. super close to the motel 6.
