There is a lot in the area, it doesn't cost anything usually to do that activities at the pavilion, love that its right on the lakeside. I enjoy walking around the lake while they have music playing. Sometimes there are weddings. The golf course is across the street and the zoo in walking distance which is also free!

Had not been there for a number of years and was still like I remembered it. Nice place for a wedding. Area was clean and setting was appropriate. Stopped earlier at food area and noted most items were above cost for family dining with kids.

The setting is fantastic. The food is OK. It's fresh and homemade, but a very limited menu. The seating is the downfall. It's rustic and not real comfortable.

This park is situated in southwest Minneapolis and is easy to get to, has plenty of parking, is on Lake Como with a beachfront and lots of parking. Adjacent to the park, you can get a ride on a historic streetcar which formerly took people from downtown Minneapolis to Lake Como. About a mile of track has been rebuilt, and you go through a short tunnel under a street! Fun!

It's an easy walk around Como Lake. We ate a picnic lunch at the pavilion, overlooking the lake. A children's theatre group was setting up for a performance later that day.

I enjoy attending the free summer concerts at Como Park. This year I also enjoyed the Rosetown Players Production of "Hello Dolly!" Always a beautiful setting at Como Lake.

There are concerts here every few nights all summer. And you can rent a paddleboat or bike. There is a golf course (ski lodge) across the street.

Overlooking Como Lake (in Como Park) where hundreds of people stroll the walking paths whenever the weather is nice (summer and winter), the pavilion is home to summer evening concerts provided by a variety of community bands, orchestras, and ensembles. Musical plays are also performed there. On the ground floor of the Pavilion near the lakeshore one can rent paddleboats or canoes. On the first floor is a pleasant cafeteria-style cafe with fast food and ice cream. Behind the pavilion is an artificial waterfall with pools where walkers and bikers stop to rest or cool off.

This is a summer destination for music, shows and more. Sitting on Como Lake. The food is mediocre but there is some.

I am in the show choir Harmonic Relief and we perform every summer at the Lake Como Pavillion. What I like the best is that we can come early and have a snack and a glass of wine, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It is one of my favorite performances as we get to view the lake while we are on stage!

The Pavilion is a marvelous place to sit and enjoy Como Lake, have a bit to eat in the cafe, or see a play or musical venue. The music floats across the lake and on a nice night it's a perfect place to take a moment to relax.

The Pavilion building itself is fine, but what I come here for is the mile and half walk around the lake. Even on a cool, overcast May afternoon it is very pleasant. But the best time to come is on a Summer evening, when one joins the promenade of families with young children and others of all ages, and a breeze off the water cools the warm air. Just off the South side of the lake are many restored homes that are worth taking note of. Keep in mind that Como Lake is not a nature area, but is is a very civilized place for a stroll in the city.

The Como Lakeside Pavllion was the site of many happy events when my wife and I were going together in college. The Sunday night Hymn Sings were a weekly highlight. We recently have attended concerts and a hymn sing now as senior citizens.

They offer free musical programs here in the summer. Food is available at modest cost. Also LOTS of fun to walk around Lake Como and then stop in for something cold to drink.

I have attended weddings, musicals and picnics at the Lakeside Pavillion. It is a favorite stop when visiting Como Zoo and Park.
