We enjoyed the park very much. They have some seriously crazy rides though! My 8 and 10 year olds wouldn't even do all of them because they go upside down and twirl! It's great fun for all ages though and I would go back.

Somewhat expensive, but riding indoor coasters when it is -10 degrees outside is GREAT! Rides are varied, and some have rider control (like the Turtle Ride and the Brain Surge) which is exciting!

Amazing entertainments for the kids and for the adults. Little pricy but still plenty of fun. If you go to MOA you've gotta ride at least one thing at this crazy indoor park

I haven't been to this amusement park since it was Camp Snoopy way back in the day. We live close by, and used to take our son when he was young. We went today because we had a free pass, and I am pretty sure I won't be heading back anytime soon. It is an average amusement park, but considering it is indoors and located in a great mall, it has to be elevated in status somewhat. Unfortunately, we went on a Saturday, and it was an absolute zoo. This made for very long lines. We only went on the more "adult" rides like Avatar Airbender and Brain Surge, and while they were pretty fun, the long waits made it not worthwhile. The rides themselves are pretty quick, about a minute or 90 seconds each, and the wait averaged about 20-30 minutes, so it was very little payoff for the time spent. We got in 6 rides in about 4 hours. Add to that the cost of an all-day armband ($37), it is an expensive way to spend an afternoon standing around. Luckily, we only had to buy one armband, but if I had bought one for everyone, it would have been very frustrating. Again, though, the rides are pretty fun.On the other hand, If the crowd was smaller, I think you could really get a good bang for your buck. If you go on a weekday when school is in session, you wouldn't have many lines to contend with and you could hit your favorite rides multiple times. I think that would make it more worthy of a visit. Even so, understand that the number of rides available is pretty small for each category, so you'll end up repeating your favorites a lot.Overall, I'd recommend this place if a) you can go during off-peak hours, b) you can go for free or at a reduced rate, or c) you're so fed up with winter that you'll do anything to simulate an outdoor activity. If it's busy, you'll be frustrated.

The day we visited was VERY quiet so we did not have to wait longer than 5 minutes to get on a ride. Ride attendants were extremely nice and rides were really fun! Would have given a 5 star BUT I feel the price is pretty steep for the amount of rides there.

My kids have been going here for years. Their new favorite is the Zip Line and re-designed Ropes Course. So we're hanging out last Saturday and Dr. Oz. shows up to to the Zip Line too! (see pictures).This place is not Disney World, but it's 1/3 the price for an all day pass, you will stay dry and there are about a hundred different food options close by. Good fun.

I'm a roller coaster fan so I was excited to try out the few coasters they had here. It's a bit pricey at about $6 per ride, but at least the rides are all somewhat unique. Rode the Spongebob coaster which was surprisingly intense for the theme, the Avatar ride was a ton of fun, and the Fairly Oddparents coaster was probably the most fun and I rode it twice. Why twice? Well, because all the staff I encountered was incredibly slow and inattentive. They spent more time chatting with each other than observing the ride they were operating. I stood and watched one ride fully loaded with people sit there for five full minutes while the operators talked about something before starting it. It was unbelievable. I rode the Fairly Oddparents ride without them scanning my ticket because they simple weren't paying attention and let a bunch of people on while they chatted. Worse still was they didn't even notice the little boy in the car with me didn't put his seat belt on (the seat belt is kind of superfluous thanks to the lap bar). Luckily his father did and frantically latched it while we went up the lift. Hard to excuse that kind of negligence. So sure the lines were pretty short, but the only reason there were lines at all was because the ride operators move at a snail's pace.

Nick Universe is a great amusement park for what it is. Most of the park is targeted at the 12 and under audience, but there are still plenty of thrill rides that adults and teens will enjoy. My favorite ride here is SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge, but Avatar Airbender and Brain Surge are also very fun. Most of the rides were being run efficiently, and most people seemed to be having a great time. Even though I prefer Valleyfair to Nick Universe, I still very much enjoy this park because it is open year-round, which allows us to go to an amusement park during winter without going to a warm-weather state. If you're ever in the area, stop by Nick Universe and have some fun.

We visited on February 2, a Monday. We were looking for something to do between hotel checkout and our flight, and most of the kid attractions like the museums are closed Monday's.They have a system at low times where half the rides are open for 20 minutes at the top of the hour and half are open for 20 minutes at the bottom of the hour. This would be fine except they were constantly running behind schedule, sometimes as much as 10 minutes. So, even in a slow time we were often only able to ride 2 rides in an hour. The employees seemed totally unconcerned about opening rides 10 minutes late, even though that cut off half the time they were open that hour. We purchased unlimited ride wristbands and definitely did not get a good value. Very unlikely that we'll return as this was a big waste of money.

We visited Nick U over Presidents' Day weekend -- it was extremely busy. Buy your tix online and pick up at kiosks at the entrances. There is good variety in the rides, lots for younger kids and many don't force the (adult) chaperone to pay to ride. Almost all rides are accessible to kids 48 inches tall. The orange coaster isn't scary and let's little kids have the thrill of a coaster. My kids also really enjoy the log ride. Having recently visited disney world, we were frustrated by the inefficiency in filling the rides (there were often empty seats while tons of kids were waiting in line), and the employees weren't very friendly (but those jobs would be rough), but the kids were still happy. And that's what it's about in the middle of winter, isn't it?

All day pass was worth the money. Something for every age of kid - even the big ones. Go early as it really fills up in the afternoon.

My son, his friend, and my husband enjoyed rides all day and evening. They loved every minute! We were there during the week, so there were no lines to contend with!

We went to Nickelodeon Universe over the Thanksgiving break 2014. There was actually a 6pm to Midnight unlimited rides deal on Thanksgiving for only $10 a person. With that being said, it was well worth that price. If you were to pay full price, it seemed a little high for the style rides offered. Most of the rides were simple but there were some others that were "thrill" rides. Unlike many other amusement parks I have gone to, most of the rides had only one attendant/worker. Therefore, it to a good amount of time for them to load and unload. Even with the short lines, we still had to wait a considerable amount.When we were there, it was about 10 degrees outside. It was a great activity to do inside when the weather outside is not so nice. Over all we enjoyed ourselves. The park was set-up nice, had a lot of Nickelodeon related decoration, and overall was clean. If you are looking for a grand adventure wait to the summer and go to a big amusement park. If you are looking for something to do when it is cold, Nickelodeon Universe is for you.

I highly suggest going in the mornings, when the park first opens. It is much less busy at that time. Even better if you can go on a weekday. If you must go on a weekend evening, be aware of the long, long ride wait times and the busy atmosphere. On the plus side, the park looks breathtaking at night, when it is all lit up. I'd say it's definitely a matter of preference, and with a young son, daytime hours work best for us. Teens will love it at night! Also, plan ahead on getting ride wristbands for $25.00 each - they are well worth it.

Spent the entire afternoon at Nickelodeon Universe yesterday. No school and bitter cold outside,and the place was full of families having a "Disney kind of day, in Minnesota!" Every Tuesday is "Toddler Tuesday," $14 ride pass for kids 6 and under and free lunch for them at manyrestaurants, with a paid adult lunch. Also free a free movie option in the morning and other special events for the little ones.
