Huge, neat, comfortable and beautiful buildings. Lots of facilities nearby:museums, stores, restaurants, supermarkets...
Had a great time at williams arena watching the gophers and Richard pitino. Will come back soon! Our seats were ok, but a packed arena made it fun.
You can get almost anywhere by walking here. And every building has unique architecture, whether it be modern or historic. I absolutely recommend going to see this campus in the fall as all the trees have rainbows of color on their leaves.
The U is an excellent place for people-watching, architecture admiring, dining, walking around, sporting events, arts, performing arts, etc. the Northrop Mall is beautiful year round. The buildings are an architecture admirer's delight. There is a restaurant for everyone either along Washington Ave or in Dinkytown. Dinkytown is fun and always busy with students. And if you want to see a quiet aspect of the U, head over to St Paul Campus or West Bank. Many people think the U is huge and over-wheel mint, but it really is manageable with a map or a local friend to show you around. The bookstore is in the basement of Coffman Union and it has something for everyone. The light rail runs along East Bank on Washington Ave and you can take it to either downtown Mpls or St Paul. The Bank (TCF Bank Stadium) is great fun when the Gophers are playing and the energy on campus is thrilling! Just across the street are more sports facilities with games often occurring in several building at the same time. I could go on and on...the U is awesome!
Great Clinic and staff. I saw a world-renowned specialist. He spent two hours talking to me and answering questions. He is also doing research.
When visiting the MSP region you should take a walk or drive through the campus. The school is huge and has a great mixture of architecture among the buildings. We were specifically happy to walk inside the Williams Center- home of UofM basketball. It is one of America's greatest collegiate field houses and if you are a NCAA fan, get a look inside.
lots of parking, lots of places to eat , everything close. great campus to watch hockey, football or any sport.
I attended the U. It didn't feel as "big" as everyone said it was. I was able to get around just fine. Has everything you need. Great school!
Nice campus and were able to take the train through stadium village to downtown minneapolis on the green line.
Great university. We enjoyed coming for commencement. Despite many construction projects, it was easy to get around for visitors. Parking was easily accessible and affordable. We were surprised by how sprawled the campus has become.
Coffman union is full of fantastic schoices including Panda Express, Chick fila, and erberts and gerberts!
I went to school here 40 years ago! A convenience campus in the heart of the city! A large student population (over 50,000} and an interesting place to visit! I always enjoy going back!
Great University with great facilities and it has been a pleasure to study abroad here! Would recommend to anyone
Loved being down at the U...great nite life and food!! We used the light rail to get down there from downtown and it was so easy! We will be doing that more!
Nice area, safe, fun. Great hotel, The Commons, within walking distance to stadium. Many restaurants and coffee shops.
