Campus was beautiful, and the people are so friendly and welcoming. There are many updated, modern buildings, but also some very classic, beautiful old buildings.

The grounds are so beautiful, even though it is winter, I had a meeting at one of the buildings. I have been there several times. Love the old bowling alley in the basement of the Memorial Union.

I am bias toward Iowa State, I am an alumnus and a big fan. Iowa State has great programs and provides a quality education in many area. If you are looking for a great education in Engineering, Agriculture, or Sciences, Iowa State is a great place with a small town feeling.

Great place for a basketball game. We had a great time and enjoyed the game. Not real hard to get back to the interstate afterwards.

The number one university in Iowa, great campus, easy to get around, and great people!! The Memorial Union on Lincolnway is a great place for first time visitors to park and get a feel for the university and start your exploration and visit.

The campus is nice to walk around, on, and through. Many old buildings, still functioning, as well as a cool old clock bell tower. Definitely check that out! Stop and visit if you can.

Great school to attend for academics. They have a great athletics program as well. The gymnastics team is great!

Great university campus. Stayed for a future problem solving competition. Accomodation was very basic. Shared bathroom, no airconditioning and up 3 flights of stairs with luggage as no lifts. Mattress was comfortable and clean sheets provided. Great variety of food in cafeteria. Ask for dormitory with lifts and airconditioning as my friends were in a different building.

Visited the campus and old downtown. Learned where to visit gardens and galleries during next visit.

It offers a lot to townspeople as well as students culturally and educationally. However, most staff are cold and reserved

Love the school. The grounds are beautiful with a lot of green space. Beautiful walk on a fall day. great Frisbee golf course! My son is very happy here.

easy access in and out of Ames; friendly people; nice selection of restaurants; good choice of hotel accommodations.

The campus has a close community feel, yet it was just big enough. Loved that there was a mall area that was grassy and not concrete.

Most people don't think of a science and tech school as a place of beauty but this campus is very scenic.

When my son decided to come here for college, we wondered what drew him here instead of the popular Iowa college that most students from the Chicago-area attended. Well after many years of coming here for education related activities, entertainment or sports events, I know what drew him here - it's a great school with outstanding academics, beautiful campus and friendly people. Can't say enough about the school!
