I wasn't expecting to find a brewery of this caliber in Boone, IA but if you are a beer lover then definitely check this place out. They have a large selection of styles for their production size (quite small, but currently expanding) and their staff is friendly and excited to talk to you about beer and things to do in the local area. Highly recommended place if you are a fan of delicious beer from the tap!

A wide selection of very good beers, but the atmosphere is very lacking. Reasonable prices and a nicely done tap room. However, the staff comes off as snooty and they spend most of their time yukking it up with what appears to be a few hard-core regulars that sit up at the bar. Improve the tap room experience and this place could be fantastic.

We were very impressed with the selection and quality of this newer, very small (nano) brewery. The production volume is still very small, so I'm told we were lucky to taste as much as we did that evening. It was all good, and I can see why they sell out at times. Samplers, pints and growlers are available. They don't serve any food, but some local restaurants will deliver or you can bring in things to munch on. The taproom was very warm and inviting with a maximum capacity of 50. It's probably best to call ahead to make sure they are open before making the journey from out of town as hours are limited and they may sell out, especially on celebration weekends.
