I have browsed shopped & Combed through literally hundreds and hundreds of Antique stores, shops, malls, road side sheds, flea markets and yard sales you name it I have found it hard to pass up a good sale during my travels, from as far North as Bangor Main, down to the Southern tip of the great state of Texas , to the far West Coast of Southern California on the pacific Ocean up the coastline to Washington state, I have never met a more rude disrespectful shop keeper / owner than the person that owns KNOTKNEW Antiques on the square in Corydon Iowa, I was literally appalled at the way she spoke to an elderly lady that was attempting to retrieve an antique lamp from the store window display for purchase, I felt so sorry for this lady, I am completely disregarding the fact that when I walked in the front door of the store and was plotting out my strategic plan of which isles I would walk down as to NOT miss a single isle or display, As I entered the store the owner looked at me and stared at me as if I had two heads or something, after a brief few moments, I finally broke the silence and said hello. The elderly lady that was purchasing the lamp was rudely told “The Light Bulb is NOT included” She kindly replied to the owner, Yes I can see the sign clearly states bulb not included. I can tell you there are other stores in this town that deserve your business.
