Several great wines to taste. The winemaker is an attorney and the wines have very clever names, all relating to law. Five tastings for $5 and you keep the complimentary etched wine glass. The lady who was pouring was friendly, but didn't share much info about each wine we were tasting. Also, she didn't seem to want to sell us any bottles, rather suggested we go on-line and order, as she knew we were traveling.

Very friendly, didn't sample as you could only purchase by the bottle verses by the glass. Music was good in the courtyard.

My husband and I visit this everytime we go to LeClaire. (about twice a year) Love the wine and after tasting we get a glass to go with the tasting I think it is 5$ a person? and you get to taste five wines.

I'm not a drinker but you can buy root beer & cream soda made in Iowa in individual bottles here. THEY HAVE LIVE MUSIC outside & people sitting & enjoying that. My sister-in-love got some wine & glasses. I think she liked it. Friendly staff & sweet little place. The owner is from Scotland so he has an accent (bonus points for that).

Pretty cool place to buy local wines in the area. Very nice, courteous, and helpful for wine tasting. They have music on the weekends which may be something I am definitely going to check out sometime. :) Leclaire is a cute town all around.

Absolutely loved the wines in this little shop! The tasting was a great experience and we purchased two bottles to drink during our Midwest vacation! The staff were super friendly and helpful. A huge line of thunderstorms were moving in as we were leaving. Since we were inexperienced New Englanders they checked the radar for us, suggested a severe weather app for my phone and generally expressed concern for us traveling on the road. It was so sweet! Highly recommend this tasting room!

Four of us spent an early evening before dinner at the Wide River tasting room. We each bought a glass for the $6 price and got to sample five wines (although the rep actually let two of us try six! Thank you!). She made excellent suggestions and guided us to pick wines we would enjoy (dry vs. sweet, award winners). She also took our picture! We agreed on a red and bought a bottle to enjoy on their patio, where a terrific band was playing. It wasn't too loud for us to talk as we enjoyed the wine, before crossing the street for dinner. We also had a plate of veggies and crackers with dip, which was simple but quite wonderful - we couldn't stop exclaiming over the dips, actually! We'll be back.

Had a fun day trip with my special guy and we visited the Wide River Winery tasting room in Le Claire. There were several other people already tasting when we arrived and for $6.00, I got a fantastic souvenir wine glass and the opportunity to taste about a dozen wines - including a wine slushy! They had both dry and sweet wines available. We even made a purchase to take home with us. The tasting room was very clean and neat with two bars. They even have musical entertainment some days - but not on the Thursday when we visited. We would love to visit again! I do believe you can wine taste for free - but you won't receive your own souvenir glass. Pita chips and chocolates are available free with your tasting.

It's small in the tasting area, the atmosphere is comfortable. Their wines are really flavorful...prices of wine are reasonable and you get a free wine glass with your tasting..best$6 I spent today

What a nice clean place .Taste a little wine and relax a bit while your about and about shopping.Free wine tasting with your choice of 5 different wines made locally in Clinton, Iowa.A wide variety of flavors to try.Very friendly staff there to help you choose your favorite wine at an affordable price.I can't wait to go back in the summer and use their patio and listen to music while sipping the delicious wines.

We did a wine tasting, the woman who helped us was very helpful. We had a fun time and came away with 3 different bottles of wine and free wine glasses as souvenirs.
