From the age of 3 to the ripe old age of 10 we took our granddaughter to experience the wonderful plays performed in the Treasure Village Theatre each summer. When her younger sister was old enough, we took both the girls. We have so many wonderful memories from Treasure Village and we know the grandchildren do as well. It is such a terrific interactive theatre experience for the children. And, you MUST budget and have the children's faces painted. It truly adds to the overall experience for the children. The local residents are fortunate to have such a wonderful venue in the area.
I played the Treasure Village mini golf course. While in its day it was very nice, but the courses and the attractions on each hole are getting a bit tired. If you are going to play mini-golf fine, but the obsticles on each hole are in deep need of being updated.
My daughter (age 4) and son (age 2) loved their experience at Treasure Village so much on the first day that we went back the next day for a second play. We saw the Frog Prince on the first day, it was great! Most of the children get their faces painted prior to the show and are invited onstage during intermission to show everyone their paintings. Treasure Village also does a drawing during intermission, which makes it fun for the kids - everyone loves to win prizes! The second day we saw The Wizard of Oz - they did a fabulous job. I was very impressed by this show. We also enjoyed walking around the put put golf that is fairy tale themed while eating our cotton candy ice cream cones. Treasure Village does have coupons on it's website. If you pay in cash and use a coupon you can save a $1 per person on admission fees to the plays. I would highly recommend for a morning of family fun! My daughter is already looking forward to going back next summer.
