I have frequented Fort Hall casino for 8 years. A lot of the reviews are correct, the place can be crowded, smoky, and noisy. The inside temp can vary greatly between the different sections. What they do correct, however, is keep up with the newest slots. As for them being tight, well, I've both won big and lost big there, but like EVERY casino, you will end up losing in the long run. I understand the plan is to build a new casino connected to the very nice hotel, but I have no idea when they plan to break ground. (Though an insider told me sometime this year is the target)...It would make a lot of sense to combine a sparkling new facility to the beautiful hotel and increase revenue overall. IMO, they should have done this when they built the hotel a couple years ago.

There are 2 separate sections of the casino. The older section is crowded, noisy, and smokey, however, they also have the newest games in there. The other side is quieter and has higher ceilings so the smoke isn't as bad. But games are good and the restaurant in the casino (Buffalo Horn Grill) is a fabulous place for food. We had a short stack of pancakes that would have fed a family of 4 - dinner plate sized pancakes that were thick and fluffy.

nice little casino but it was cold outside and you had to walk 200 yards in the cold should build a heated walkway games were great and nice little chicks all over the place

I have to say the casino is well, a casino. It's clean and well run and will keep your money. What is outstanding is their hotel. Great price, upscale rooms, clean , large and beautiful! The gift shop is wonderful. We will be back.

Fort Hall Casino is very small and wreaks of smoke. You kind of expect that in any casino, but it seems as though there is no ventilation. The slots are very tight and there aren't many options other than the video slot games that are guaranteed to take your money. I go expecting to lose money but usually after playing for an hour. You win a little, lost a bit more, win a little and so on. We stayed for less than 20 minutes. Unless you live in the area or have an absolute hankering to gamble, best to stay away.

I have played at over 50 casinos in many states, and this casino has by far the tightest slots I have ever played. They just don't pay out. Even when you bet higher, they still don't pay out. I have dropped lots of $ here, and I have NEVER walked out of here ahead. Their machines do nothing but take, take, take. When you play with your Player's Club Card, it is worthless. You can drop $10 playing the machines, and you're lucky if you've accumulated all of 1 point on your card. There are absolutely no benefits given to those spending a lot of money on their Player's card. It's pretty pathetic. I can go to Nevada and get free rooms and free play for the amount of money I spend. I would highly recommend keeping your money and staying away from here.'s

Walked over from Shoshonne Bannock hotel (which we were very pleased with) and were very disappointed. This place absolutely wreaks of smoke. There is a small non-smoking section but you can tell very little difference there. The place is very hard to walk thru, little room between rows of machines. We walked thru two rooms and only found slot machines, no gaming tables. We stayed for about 45 minutes and went back to the hotel. Parking lot was dark and a bit scary to navigate. Lots of folks hanging out in their cars for some reason. Ugh.

This casino surprised me as it had new slots that I had not seen before. When you did win, you won big and often, but then it seemed the "winning" time was over and there weren't even small wins. So, take your money and run if you do have a big win. The I dian fry bread in the grill was excellent. The RV Park clean with a great restroom and laundry and steps to the casino. A good stay!

Nice casino, well lit. Snack bar closes too early in the evening. We got there at 11 p.m. and it was already closed. Did some gambling and won a little more than we brought, so that was ok.

This is a nice medium size casino. It is kept clean and there are lots of different machines to choose from. They hold bingo and we gave that a tried. Even though we did not win we enjoyed the experience. The bingo staff was very helpful explaining how there games work.

There is no alcohol served in the casino, as it is located on a dry reservation. Makes the casino experience a little different!

I have been treated poorly by these people for year after year however it never really effected me because I was winning money. Since they opened the Hotel and Event Center I have rarely won any money. Now, I am not naive enough to think that everyone is a winner every time, but not winning anything significant over the last year and a half is a little ridiculous (especially when you gamble in the High Stakes Room and large jackpots are frequent).

We had to get a gamblers number to get the better rate at the hotel. Going through the smoke filled casino wasn't fun but we received our number and found out there was a smoke free section of the casino but we didn't stay.

from the pictures on the website it looks like it a modern casino and hotel, (not) the hotel is pretty new and not attached to the really old casino, that could have been a large tent at one time, but today its just a old rundown building.....they do have all the newest slot but they are so tight just expect to leave some money behind as we did not see anybody winning or any wall of fame with big winners listed. Considering how bad the weather can be here it was poor planing not to attach the hotel to the casino, save your money and go to Nevada.

When we first arrived at the casino, we were a bit skeptical about the place. It's a little dingy, pretty smoky, even in the non-smoking room. It looks as if it was a small building at one time, and they just kept adding on to it. There are three slot rooms, but laid out very awkwardly. There's also a BIG bingo hall sort of in the middle of things. Bathrooms are clean, but difficult to find. Soft drinks and coffee are free, but again, with the strange layout, hard to find. We started just going into the centrally located bingo room for our needs. The first machines we played didn't pay out much at all, and we were about to leave. We stuck around, though, wanting to get the 'magic number' of points to get their $25 in slot play. We finally found some machines that were paying a bit better, got our free money, and I ended up winning about 5 times what I came in with! My husband broke even. We'd go back, but only because they're the only casino we can find around here!
