We visited during the week and it was nice and quiet...no waiting on the platforms. We took a 15 or so minute drive from the Zip Idaho office to the start of the line in a nice air conditioned Yukon. The guides, Mike and Christian were very attentive and safety oriented. We traveled a total of 6 lines. The first three on the short and easier side to get ya used to the zip experience. The fourth was fabulous...the turkey 2000. Long high soaring through the trees! The next two we could run two zippers at a time and that was fun as well! The tour was organized and clean. the equipment was clean and in good repair. The guides were great. It was a great experience! I just wished it was a little big longer and a few more zip lines. We left their office at 11am and were returned there by 1245.
My wife, daughter, and I took our 19-year-old son and his girlfriend up for his birthday. My wife and I were a bit "nervous" the kids were just excited. The guides were fun and very careful. The rides started easy and build to very exciting. The three hour trip went quick because we were having so much fun!Got to the bottom and bought t-shirts and the photo disc. At home we discovered that all the pictures were amazing--and every person had a HUGE smile on their face in every one!Memories to last a lifetime!
If your into excitement and thrills this is definitly for you ! Both of the guides were excellent and this was the most fun my daughter and I had on our trip .
This is such a fun experience. Our family of four, including two adults, a teenager and a 10-year-old, all had huge smiles on our faces during this activity. The lines are up in the mountains and are laid out very well. You start with a small line to get accustomed to the process and then move on to the bigger, faster lines. When you get to the line where they tell you that going backwards is an option, take it. You may never get to jump out a a tree backwards ever again. The Turkey 2000 goes so fast and is so long that you won't be able to see the person on the line after a few seconds. Then when it's your turn, you just fly down that line. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Our guides, Cody and Christian, were very entertaining while making sure everything was safe. The bumpy van ride up was probably more dangerous than the lines themselves. Zip Idaho's safety precautions were obviously well though out. All of these things make the experience so memorable. Highly recommended.
Took my dad here for his birthday. We had a great time. The guides for were great and had fun. The views were great. The lines were really good. The Turkey 2000 line was fantastic. Would go back.
I wanted to go zip lining for my birthday. I chose Zip Line Idaho because they were closer to the Treasure Valley area. I was very pleased with my choice, the guides were Excellent and made the experience great! The guides, Joe and Cody were very attentive to making sure everyone in the group was safe and having a good time. The scenery was great being up in the tree line. The only drawback was I wish they had more lines because I didn't want to stop.
I was on vacation in Idaho and had never gone on the zip line before and wanted to take my wife and daughter on one. So I made registration in advance to this business but did not realize how far it was from where we where staying in Idaho, it was 3 1/2 hour drive from where we where staying. So we called to tell them that we needed to cancel are reservation for the zip line. I contacted them just about the 48 hour mark before they would not give me a refund or part refund. The girl that was answering the phone told me that they would not give me a refund and that they would not work with me at all. we try to explain to them but they would not listen at all. The manager would not even come to the phone and talk to me at all and they where set in there ways not to give any refunds at all. This made it real hard for us and other people wanted to help us by paying for it. The place that we where staying at felt so bad for us they where willing to give us a free night to stay at the hotel. The next day we made it down there to the zip line in Horseshoe Bend Idaho they still did not care. At this time I just felt they where rude and did not care about anything at all. I like Idaho a lot, there is a lot of friendly people and business there and I just want to thank the people that try to help us out in Idaho. The hotel supported us so much that they are going to make sure they don't send people there even others will recommend that this is not the place to go. This should have been a lot of fun for us and the business needs to have training in customer service and care about the people who are doing business with them. Other problems there a lot of bees one person got stung three times. The staff was not concern at all and did not take steps to stop the bees.
We took two trips with different family members. The experience was enjoyed by all. Not scary just fun. The equipment is new, well maintained and the staff is well trained and professional.
Zip lines are always fun - this is is no exception. The staff was friendly and organized and did a good job.
Had made reservations for our anniversary. I was super excited about the plans I had made for my wife. Unfortunately they forgot to book our time slot. They had our credit card info and everything. Good thing we called right before we left to find out they forgot to book us. At least they could of acted like they cared about the screw up. Horrible experience and horrible business management. We won't be back.
The zip line was great! The last two lines were the best, our guides were hilarious but professional - they made the trip a lot more fun!!
I have done this zip tour a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Some of the stations are in really tall Ponderosa pine trees and you get a fast and fun zip!
I have not done zip-lining anywhere else, so don't have any comparison, but I thought this was so fun and the surroundings were gorgeous.
After a long and bumpy ride up the mountain (not a highlight) we were ready for our zip adventure and we were not disappointed. Our 2 guides were great and always made us feel safe, yet adventurous. I've zipped before but never on such long lines - one was 1700 feet long so you could barely see the landing deck. It was great fun! If you are afraid of heights don't go but people of all ages can enjoy this. Loved it! Worth the money!
Zip Idaho was great! We went with a work group and had an amazing day. The guides were fun and I would recommend for sure!
